(NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.) - The Thomas More College rallied from an 8-2 deficit to defeat Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) leading Westminster College, 10-9 in 10 innings today (Sunday, April 15, 2012) at Westminster Field in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.

With the win, the Saints improve to 18-10 overall and 8-7 in the PAC.  With the loss, the Titans fall to 19-9 overall and 10-2 in the PAC.

Thomas More scored one in the first, two in the second, two in the sixth, five in the seventh and one in the 10th, while holding Westminster to two in the first, one in the fourth, five in the fifth and one in the ninth for the 10-9 extra inning victory.

Thomas More was led at the plate by senior second baseman Andrew Clements (Cincinnati, Ohio/McNicholas), who was two-for-five with four runs batted-in and a run scored. Four other Saints had multiple hits in the game as junior shortstop David Kennett (Grove City, Ohio/Grove City) was three-for-six with a double, a RBI and two runs scored, freshman left fielder Nick Connor (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) was two-for-five, senior first baseman Andrew Thole (Cincinnati, Ohio/McNicholas) was two-for-five with a double, a RBI and two runs scored and sophomore third baseman Tyler Graber (Plain City, Ohio/Jonathon Alder) was two-for-four with a run scored.

On the mound, senior Aaron Carmack (Miamisburg, Ohio/Miamisburg) started and had a no-decision as he pitched four innings and gave up eight runs (all earned) on eight hits and struck out three.  Sophomore Andy Roenker (Taylor Mill, Ky./Holy Cross) earned the win as he pitched five innings of relief and gave up one run (unearned) on seven hits and struck out three.  Junior Mike Hager (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) picked up the save as he pitched the 10th inning and gave up one hit and struck out one.

Thomas More returns to the diamond on Wednesday (April 18) when it hosts Wittenberg University in a non-conference game.  First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Thomas More Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
