April 16, 2025 Jones, Spring and Fassert honored by NCBWA Performances that saw seven homers, 13 shutout innings and eight no-hit frames captured the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III honors for the week of April 7-13 A no-hitter and a three-homer game captured the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III honors for the week of March 31-April 6 with one player winning two awards on the same week for the first time in the history of the awards.
April 11, 2025 Fassert, Sampedro combine on no-hitter for Amherst Nick Fassert tossed eight no-hit innings on Memorial Field and got some help from Jack Sampedro, who finished off the combined no-hitter in the top of the ninth, then delivered a two-out, game-winning single to give Amherst a thrilling 2-1 victory over Williams.
March 20, 2025 Teams make statements with top 25 upsets Mitchell has not had much success against No. 5 Salve Regina in the past but did have it today as they upset the Seahawks. Amherst also found a win over No. 18 Babson with MIAC teams St. John's (Minn.) and St. Olaf joining the party as well.
September 28, 2023 Morales to top Dean program Dean school officials announced the hiring of Endy Morales as the next head coach of the baseball program. Morales joins the Dean family after coaching the 2023 season at Amherst College where he worked with the pitching staff and assisted in recruiting.
April 15, 2022 Huntingdon wins slugfest, so did Amherst and ONU Pitching and defense wins games but some times you need some extra offense. Huntingdon needed 10+ runs in their 17-10 win over Brevard. Amherst, Kalamazoo and Ohio Northern were a few more that needed to out score their opponent.
May 8, 2021 NESCAC CHAMPS!! Amhest wins fifth league title Amherst College is your NESCAC Champion for the fifth time in program history as the Mammoths swept East No. 1 seed Tufts University, 6-2 and 4-1, on Saturday at Huskins Field to claim the 2021 NESCAC title.
