March 13, 2024 Pierantoni, Gillen and Collins, honored with NCBWA honors East Texas Baptist University pitcher Sayers Collins collected the NCBWA NCAA Div. III Pitcher of the Week honors for the third time. A seven-home run week by Patrick Gillen and an 11-RBI week by Greg Pierantoni garnered the Hitter and Rookie of the Week awards for games played March 4-10.
April 24, 2021 Hope sweeps Calvin on busy Saturday It does not have the same feel as the basketball rivalry but don't tell Hope head coach Stu Fritz. The Dutchmen walked off the nightcap after the offense flexed their muscles in the opener.
March 20, 2021 Wooster walks off, Adrian falls victim Wooster walked off to the first 1-0 win in ages at their home stadium as Adrian saw a second loss of the day laid on them when Calvin walked off one of their own. The Bulldogs fell to Kalamazoo earlier
July 30, 2019 Rypel replaces Ballinger at NWU Nebraska Wesleyan announced the hiring of John Rypel as the new Head coach for the Prairie Wolves. He becomes the 11th head coach in NWU program history. He has served as head baseball coach at two different NCAA III institutions amassing 132 victories.
August 28, 2018 Calvin hires Van Duyn Kevin Van Duyn has been named head coach at Calvin his alma mater. A two-time Division III All-American second baseman at Calvin, Van Duyn becomes the 13th head baseball coach in school history, including the ninth since Calvin joined the MIAA in 1953.
May 10, 2017 Final tournament weekend kicks off today The CSAC, Little East, and MIAA tournaments opened today with Keene State upsetting Southern Maine 5-4. The day ended six games later with Adrian advancing with a 8-2 win over Calvin. In between UMass-Boston and Kalamazoo both scored walk-off wins.
