April 26, 2023 Mokris, Choate, Sullivan honored with NCBWA award Anna Maria' Nick Choate collects his first NCBWA Div. III Pitcher of the Week award after winning the rookie honor twice during the 2022 season. Landon Mokris, Greenville, and Aiden Sullivan, Swarthmore were also recognized.
April 22, 2023 Big day for Anna Maria on Saturday Nick Choate pitched a complete game no-hitter for Anna Maria on Saturday. On the same day Jack Marzec became the first AMCAT pitcher to cross the 300 strike-out barrier and head coach Dan Briand earned his 100th win since taking over the AMCATS .
May 4, 2022 NCBWA hands out weekly honors The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has its first repeat Div. III winner of the year, as Anna Maria College’s Nick Choate is the Rookie of the Week for the second time in the last four weeks. A perfect game and a seven-homer week captured the other Div. III honors for games played April 25 – May 1.
April 29, 2022 AMCATS set program wins record in sweep Anna Maria swept Norwich and set their high water mark in wins in a season. In the SAA tourney, Hendrix drew within one win of their own program record for wins as they are the lone undefeated team in the BSC Pod.
April 13, 2022 NCBWA hands out weekly honors A HCAC hitter matched a NCAA Div. III record with four home runs in a game, an UMAC pitcher came a strikeout shy of matching the single-game Div. III record and plus nine no-hit innings spanning two outings by a GNAC rookie earned this week’s NCBWA honors.
