April 22, 2024 Tough to be perfect....in conference Mitchell stayed perfect in the GNAC and has never lost a GNAC conference game having joined the GNAC this year. The Mariners are just one of three teams who enter this week without a loss in conference play. UMass-Dartmouth and Penn State-Harrisburg also have no conference losses.
February 17, 2024 Mitchell opens with sweep, Buena Vista opener a hit Mitchell made the best of a trip south to grab two wins on their opening day over William Peace. Further south La Grange took two of their own as Joe Ruth inched closer to the D3 hits record. Buena Vista only got one win on Saturday but scored enough runs to win multiple times with an 18-run seventh inning.
June 26, 2023 Gilblair named head coach at Mitchell Shawn Gilblair has been named head coach of the Mitchell College baseball team, as announced by school officials. Gilblair returns to New London, where he served as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator from 2019-2022
May 21, 2023 Yaworski's Big Day Powers Mitchell to Victory over Wheaton in New London Regional NEW LONDON, Conn. – Sophomore first baseman Bo Yaworski (Brooklyn, Conn.) went 4-5 with three doubles and six RBI, powering the third-seeded Mitchell College baseball team past top-seeded and No. 8/9 Wheaton College, 7-4, in the NCAA New London Regional at Alumni Field. The Mariners, who were playing the Lyons for the first time in program history, improve to 33-8 overall while Wheaton drops to 38-7 and into the loser's bracket of the tournament.

May 19, 2023 Top seeds fall early, late Mitchell found home cooking to their liking with a one run decision over Tufts. They were not the only lower seeds to find success on Friday. Fourth-seeded Bridgewater State, Lewis & Clark, Susquehanna and TCNJ earned wins on the opening day of the NCAA Playoffs.
May 19, 2023 Mitchell Rallies Past Tufts in NCAA Regional Opener The third-seeded Mitchell College baseball team overcame a two-run eighth inning deficit to surge past second-seeded Tufts University, 6-5, in the opening round NCAA Baseball Championship New London Regional on Friday afternoon at Alumni Field.
