NEW LONDON, Conn. – Senior Niko Bedell (Manorville, N.Y.) became the 18th player in program history to collect his 100th career hit as Becker College defeated Coast Guard 14-3 in non-conference baseball action. The win was the Hawks first over a NEWMAC opponent since defeating WPI on April 25, 2006.

Becker College Director of Athletics Frank Millerick has announced the hiring of Robert McLaughlin as its new head baseball coach. McLaughlin comes to Becker after spending the last three seasons as an assistant coach at WPI.
Leicester, Mass.- Sophomore Austin Phillips’ (Thomson, GA.) two run RBI single in the top of the eighth inning lifted Becker College to 3-2 win over Rhode Island College in non-conference baseball at action this afternoon at frigid Rochdale Park.
Freshman Cody Ewest (Warrenton, Ga.) collected three hits, including a grandslam to lift Becker College past UMass Dartmouth 13-8 in non-conference men's baseball action.
