July 17, 2025 Knight takes over Cairn program Cairn school officials announced that Joshua Knight has been named the Highlanders' next head coach. Knight comes across the field to the Highlander dugout after a playing & coaching career at Clarks Summit we he led the program from 2022-2024.
April 17, 2024 Alcin throws no hitter as Highlanders sweep Penn St. - Abington Cairn hosted the Penn State - Abington Nittany Lions of the United East Volt Division on Wednesday, taking game one by a narrow margin of 5-4 and locking it down on defense with a 1-0 no-hitter in game two.
May 12, 2023 Baseball: Highlanders Walk-Off SEU to Stay Alive in CSAC Tournament, Advance to CSAC Semifinals Tomorrow LA PLUME, Pa. – The No. 3 seed Cairn University baseball team won, 13-12, in extra innings against No. 4 seed Saint Elizabeth University in round two of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Tournament on Friday afternoon. With the win, Cairn advances to the CSAC Semifinals tomorrow, and Saint Elizabeth is eliminated.

April 21, 2022 Baseball: Highlanders Surpass Single-Season Wins Record, Increase Program-Record Win Streak to Nine Games LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Cairn University baseball team won, 15-11, at home against non-conference opponent Gwynedd Mercy University on Thursday evening, marking their ninth-straight victory and setting the program record for wins in a single-season with their 21st triumph of the 2022 campaign. Cairn's current nine-game winning streak is the longest win streak in the history of the program (official win-streak records date back to 2004).
