Cairn's current nine-game winning streak is the longest win streak in the history of the program (official win-streak records date back to 2004).

Brockport grabbed their third win in four games on Wednesday but it was another New York Region team that pulled off a rare feat. Vassar's triple steal scored the winning run to defeat Cairn 6-5. In Binmingham, No 1 Emory dominated at No. 4 Birmingham-Southern.
A Cairn sweep of Valley Forge was highlighted by a no-hitter in game two. Eric Stinglen and Matthew Meyers combined for a five-inning, darkness shortened no-hitter in a 13-0 victory.
