With the win, Cairn advances to the CSAC Semifinals tomorrow, and Saint Elizabeth is eliminated.

LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Cairn University baseball team won, 15-11, at home against non-conference opponent Gwynedd Mercy University on Thursday evening, marking their ninth-straight victory and setting the program record for wins in a single-season with their 21st triumph of the 2022 campaign. Cairn's current nine-game winning streak is the longest win streak in the history of the program (official win-streak records date back to 2004).

To finish off their trip to Myrtle Beach, the Clarks Summit Defenders played one last game against Cairn and came away with a win. In Illinois, Augustana stayed perfect on the season with a doubleheader sweep of Cornell College.
Cairn's offense overwhelmed St. Joesph's (Brooklyn) and then they walked off for the sweep in game two. Wheaton (Mass.), Springfield, and Castleton all joined Cairn in putting up double digits runs on their way to Tuesday wins.
Brockport grabbed their third win in four games on Wednesday but it was another New York Region team that pulled off a rare feat. Vassar's triple steal scored the winning run to defeat Cairn 6-5. In Binmingham, No 1 Emory dominated at No. 4 Birmingham-Southern.
A Cairn sweep of Valley Forge was highlighted by a no-hitter in game two. Eric Stinglen and Matthew Meyers combined for a five-inning, darkness shortened no-hitter in a 13-0 victory.
