April 26, 2024 La Verne, Pomona battling for SCIAC title Today it was a good day for the Leopards as they extended their lead over Pomona-Pitzer by a game with a win over Whittier while Pomona fell to Chapman on their SCIAC series that opened on Friday. Lurking in third place is CMS who is poised to move up the standings if the top two teams falter.
March 1, 2024 Upsets the rule in the SCIAC on Friday There is a storm brewing in Southern California this weekend. Highlighting the Friday slate, Redlands upset La Verne and Pomona-Pitzer gave Claremont their first loss of the season. The biggest surprise was Whittier taking game one of their series with Cal Lu.
February 26, 2023 Top ranked teams take beating on Sunday Claremont-Mudd-Scripts took two from No. 7 Chapman but hey were just one of five teams that defeated Top 10 teams on Sunday. Babson, Christopher Newport, Rose-Hulman, Washington and Jefferson were the others with wins against the Top 10 team in the nation.
February 10, 2023 BSC wins battle of top 5 teams No. 4 Birmingham-Southern blanked No. 5 Trinity 3-0 in a rematch of last years Super-Regional. Elsewhere Lewis and Clark is off to their best start in two decades with a win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripts.
February 3, 2023 Opening Day! CMS opened the D-III season with visiting George Fox and earned a 9-2 win. In what was the first walk off of the season, Pomona opened their season with a 3-2 win over Whitworth.
February 19, 2018 Stags walk off with win, Belhaven wins slugfest CMS scored twice to steal a win from visiting Castelton, 4-3. Back in Jackson, Miss., Belhaven and North park scored a combined 33 runs in a game won by the Blazers 18-15.
