February 3, 2021 Colby Sawyer hires White Colby-Sawyer Hall of Famer Tom White has been named the second head coach in school history,school officials announced Tuesday. White spent the last two seasons as the team's top assistant.
January 27, 2021 Broughton retires from Colby-Sawyer Following a 25-plus year coaching career and 349 career wins, head coach Jim Broughton announced his retirement from Colby-Sawyer. Broughton became the first head coach in Charger history in 1995.
March 18, 2020 Spidell, Close, and Horvat get final NCWBA honors Student-athletes from teams in the Mideast Region claimed two of this week’s National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III awards, while a near no-no took home this week’s Pitcher of the Week honor. This week’s honorees were recognized for performances spanning March 9-15, and they are the final awards for the 2020 season.
March 10, 2019 Coast Guard sweeps, Shenandoah too The Coast Guard Bears took two from Finlandia on Sunday as brooms were out for Shenandoah and SUNY Poly as well. The Hornet set down Emory and Henry and the Wildcats opened their season with a sweep of Colby-Sawyer.
August 16, 2013 White to lead Lyndon State Lyndon has named Colby-Sawyer standout Tom White as its new head baseball coach. White will begin his tenure with the Hornets' program for the 2013-14 school year.
