April 23, 2024 2024 D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 - week 9 Colby is one of four new teams to the D3baseball.com NCBWA Top 25 this week. East Texas Baptist made a move into the top 3 as Baldwin Wallace moved down one spot. Endicott continue to be the top team. Week 2,3 number one Shenandoah fell out this week.
March 20, 2024 Betler, Thompson, Moser honored with weekly NCBWA honors No. 25 York (Pa.) outfielder Chris Betler powered his team into the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25, while Colby's Nicholas Thompson fired the program’s first no-hitter in 66 years to collect the NCBWA Div. III Hitter and Pitcher of the Week honors for games played March 11-17. A four-homer week by a first-year joined the duo as this week’s Rookie of the Week.
March 16, 2024 Thompson gavels out Judges Colby swept Brandeis in their Saturday. The Mules beat the Judges 9-0 in the first game and 13-3 in the second. In the opener, Nicholas Thompson no-hit the Judges, going seven innings and only allowing three runners. With five strikeouts, this is Thompson's first no-hitter of his career.
March 11, 2023 Wade no-hits Colby in shortened game Sophomore Rylan Wade closed the day for RPI with a statement, tossing five no-hit innings in a 3-0 victory in game two of a doubleheader.
May 19, 2022 Skelley signs on to Gordon's head post As announced by the Gordon College's Director of Athletics, Jonathan Tymann, Tad Skelley has been named the new head baseball coach for the Fighting Scots effective immediately. Skelley, who comes to Wenham with a wealth of experience from all levels of baseball (collegiate and professional), was most recently the assistant baseball coach and recruiting coordinator for the Colby College Mules in Waterville, Maine.
March 11, 2020 NESCAC cancels all spring sports Out of fear of the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus, Amherst sent its students home, followed by Middlebury, then Tufts, and finally, the entire NESCAC spring sports slate has been canceled.
