Elsewhere in Virginia, it was No. 15 Messiah needing a crooked number in the ninth to come away with a win over No. 22 CNU. No 18 Belhaven also won in their final-at-bat over Hardin Simmons.
April 24, 2025 Hartford one of four to put up 20 on Thursday Hartford erupted for 20+ runs to rout WestConn on Thursday. They were not the only team with a big offensive output, Hardin Simmons scored 20 runs to defeat ASC rival Howard Payne.Ursinus and Southern Maine also hit the 20 run mark in their games.
June 17, 2024 Wilson to replace Coleman at Hardin-Simmons Mitch Wilson has been named the new head coach for Hardin-Simmons University. Wilson comes to Hardin-Simmons after serving as an assistant coach at conference foe Mary Hardin-Baylor.
May 2, 2024 ASC tournament opens late on day one Thursday saw the opening of a number of conference tournaments. In the ASC, a tour hour delay did not prevent the games from finishing with Hardin-Simmons, Concordia-Texas and McMurry advancing with wins.
April 29, 2024 Coleman announces retirement from Hardin-Simmons Steve Coleman has announced his retirement from the Hardin-Simmons baseball program, effective at the end of the season, after a 27-year run leading the program.
March 23, 2024 No margin for error in 1-0 games on Saturday When you win 1-0, there is no margin for error and in Texas, Otto Franz tossed a complete game one hitter in game one to lead Concordia-Texas to a 1-0 win over Hardin Simmons. Not to be outdone, New York University prepped for their conference opener with a 1-0 win over Purchase.
