East Texas Baptist’s Sayers Collins book-ended the 2022 season with NCBWA Div. III pitching honors, while Minn-Morris claimed two awards in the same week, Alex Baumann as Hitter and Jacob Schaafas Rookie of the Week.

The University of Minnesota Morris has hired Matt O'Brien to lead the Cougar baseball program. O'Brien brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to UMN Morris, as he has coached at all three NCAA levels and the Northwoods Collegiate Summer League.

MINNEAPOLIS – The Cougars (1-1) won the second game of the double header, which proved to be a pitchers duel that went extra inning before the Cougars picked up the 2-1 walk-off win on Neil Arvold's single in the tenth. Dallas Coleman went 9 1/3 giving up just one run on two hits in game two.
For the first time in 27 years, Minn-Morris will have a new head coach, as longtime assistant Grant Harding is set to assume head coaching duties from Mark Fohl.
