April 2, 2024 Amid postponements, there was baseball on Tuesday Weather was on the minds of many as games were cancelled across the middle of D3 Nation. Wartburg needed a win and got one from Buena Vista as Iowa missed much of the inclement weather on Tuesday.
May 18, 2023 Klunder named head baseball coach for Knights Casey Klunder has been named the next head baseball coach at Wartburg College, John Cochrane, the Lowell J. Walker Athletics Directorship Endowed Chair announced.
March 3, 2023 Adrian wins in record fashion Adrian broke or tied four offensive records on Friday and they were not the only ones. Pitt-Greensburg also broke records. Mary Washington, St. Joseph (L.I.), Wartburg and Wilkes all scored 15 or more runs on the day.
February 28, 2023 Late runs gives Wartburg win Wartburg needed one to tie but got three in the ninth to knock off Albion in Florida. Lynchburg also needed a late run to keep on the winning track on Tuesday.
February 28, 2021 Wartburg upsets Webster Wartburg bounced back from a opening season loss with a win over No 10 Webster. Westminster (Mo.) traveled to Kansas to match up with Buena Vista this weekend and finished off a three game sweep with a 10-9 win.
February 26, 2020 Klemm no hit bid, Gotto record outing highlight the Team of the Week North Central's Charlie Klemm exited after six no hit innings and Dylan Gotto set a strikeout record in Wartburg's opener last week. Both accomplishments earned them a spot in the second D3baseball.com Team of the Week.
