Bridgewater bounced back from a first game loss and salvaged a split by defeating Emory & Henry, 14-1, in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader. The Wasps took the opener, 7-4, the first win for E&H over the Eagles since the 2000 season.
No. 6 Webster concluded its trip to Florida with a 6-3 win over Baldwin-Wallace in Punta Gorda, Fla. Pitcher Chris Jansen picked up his first win as a Gorlok and first baseman Jeff Kammer had a home run and three RBIs to pace the Webster offense,
No. 10 ranked Marietta defeated New Paltz by the score of 4-0 to wrap up play in the Snowbird Classic. Tyler Nieberding threw five shutout innings to get his second win of the trip.
Junior Brandon McClain allowed six hits and one run over seven and a third innings as eighth-ranked Cortland defeated Clarkson, 7-1, in a game played at Pat Thomas Stadium. McClain, now 3-0 on the season, struck out three and walked one.
Blake Glauben threw a complete game as Rhodes downed No. 3 Southern Maine 8-1 in their Florida Spring Break finale. The Lynx notched 11 hits in the outing to Southern Maine’s six in a match up that saw Glauben throw a complete nine innings. Glauben got three K’s in route to earning his third win this season, while only allowing one walk in the outing.
No. 20 ranked Mount Union split a pair of baseball games with NCAA D-II Walsh losing the opener 7-3 and winning the nightcap 12-4 in a doubleheader played in West Mifflin, Pa. Mount Union belted out 11 hits in the opener but only plated three runs and led 3-2 in the eighth when Walsh scored five runs and held on as the Raiders loaded the bases in both the eighth and ninth for a 7-3 win. The Raiders got the bats going again in the second game with 16 hits and plated 12 runs -- scoring in six different innings.

After enjoying a relatively easy victory start to another NWC series thanks to a one-hit shutout spun by Chris Haddeland, top-ranked Linfield had to dig deep and unearth some late-inning offensive magic to rally for an 11-inning victory over Whitman at Borleske Stadium. Down 10-1 through four innings, the Wildcats avoided a second NWC setback by spouting off a whopping 12 runs in the later stages of the game, including six in the sixth frame. The comeback thwarted a valiant upset bid by the Missionaries.

Trinity (Texas) kept Southwestern from mounting a comback as the Tigers swept a SCAC doubleheader 10-5 and 7-2. The Pirates rallied in both games but was never able to overcome an early deficits.
Willamette starting pitcher Tyler Olson threw a complete-game seven-hitter in the first game and Tiras Koon smacked four doubles in the second game, as the Bearcats swept a doubleheader from 17th-ranked George Fox, 8-2 and 11-9 at John Lewis Field.
