Trailing 6-0 going into the bottom of the sixth, sixth-ranked Frostburg State rallied for 10 runs in the following three innings to defeat CAC opponent, York (Pa.) 10-8 on Friday. Frostburg State hosts #1 Salisbury in both team's CAC finale on Saturday for the regular season crown.

Centenary (La.) used an 11-3 victory to force a doubleheader split at Louisiana College. The Gents dropped the opener 8-7. The Maroon and White posted an eight-run fifth inning to capture the victory in the second contest. In the opener, Lousiana College overcame a 6-1 Centenary lead with six runs in the bottom of the fifth to edge out a one-run decision.

Bridgewater rallied with three runs in the seventh to tie the score and then pushed across the go-ahead run in the eighth to defeat Wesley 4-3 in a non-conference contest. Pinch-hitter Brendan Howell lined a double to plate the winning run.

Texas Lutheran ran its SCAC winning streak to nine games with a doubleheader home sweep of Southwestern, winning game one 6-3 and game two 8-4.  In the first game, the Bulldogs received a complete-game effort from Aaron Aleman and a couple of home runs to power their way to a 6-3 win. In second game a six-run second inning proved to be the difference in the 8-4 win.

Senior Taylor Landry pitched seven quality innings and the WPI offense hit four homers en route to an 11-2 win over Coast Guard in a NEWMAC game, the first of a three-game weekend series. Landry pitched seven innings and allowed four hits and a pair of earned runs while walking three and striking out eight to get the win.

Loras split with Luther to continue IIAC play. Luther came out firing offensively in the late stages of game one, scoring six runs in the final two innings of play. In game two, Loras took advantage of as many opportunities as they could in order to win by a final score of 7-0. Senior pitcher Will Petrosky pitched seven innings of shutout ball while striking out four batters.

Jack Wyman drove in the game-winning run with a double in the seventh inning as Albion rallied from three runs down in posting a 6-4 victory over Calvin in the first game of a MIAA doubleheader. The Britons could not find the same magic falling 5-0 in the nightcap. Calvin starter Nate Schepers allowed a second inning single and a two-out walk in the seventh for the Albion batters to reach base.

Montclair State rallied in the eight inning to tie and score one in the ninth for the winning margin in a 7-6 win over NJAC rival William Paterson. The Redhawks manufactured a run in the ninth, using two outs to move the lead off batter on first to third and scoring him with another hit.

Marian scored a combined 26 runs and produced 26 hits and split a Friday doubleheader at Illinois Tech. The Sabres suffered a 13-9 setback in the opener but won game two in convincing fashion 17-4. In game one the Sabres opened up a 6-1 advantage, however, Illinios Tech produced a seven-run fourth inning to take a lead it wouldn't surrender. In the nightcap the Sabres' offense scored early and often, scoring in every inning but one en route to the lopsided win.

Powered by five-run spurt over the final three innings, St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) took a 6-2 victory over New York University to open a three-game series at MCU Park. St. Joseph's finished with 11 base knocks on the afternoon, five going for extra bases, and the Bears driving in four of their six runs with two outs.

Spartan starter Josh Eastman stymied the Wartburg bats in game one with a seven-inning shutout and the Dubuque offense tagged the Knights for 15 hits in the nightcap as the Spartans swept No. 11 Wartburg, 2-0 and 9-5. In the battle between the IIAC's best team ERA (3.65) against the Knights, who carried the league's highest scoring offense at 7.6 runs per game and most home runs (18), pitching won out.

Senior Charles Thielmann tossed a complete game for this fourth win of the season as No. 5  Kean completed the series sweep of New Jersey City by the final of 9-2. Thielmann scattered 11 hits, including nine singles, with one walk and four strikeouts for his 15th career complete game effort.

North Central (Ill.) racked up 16 hits in a 13-3 rout of Wheaton (Ill.), while starter Ben Krusen broke the program's all-time strikeout record in the process. Krusen struck out nine batters to become the program's all-time leader in strikeouts (206), breaking Chris Pryzdia's previous high of 203 set from 1995-98.  Krusen earned his first victory of the season, allowing just one earned run over six innings pitched, scattering three hits and walking four.

Coe posted a shutout in the series opener with Simpson and followed it by posting nine runs in the nightcap, as the Kohawks took the first two games of the IIAC series. The four game set continues on Saturday.

After a few days of postponements, 4th-ranked Heidelberg finally took the field against Capital. Those extra days off seemed to benefit the Crusaders early, as they took game one 17-12 before the Student Princes salvaged a split by thrashing Capital 16-1 in game two. Derek Hug highlighted the day with three home runs for the Berg in the doubleheader while freshman Sam Ankromturned in a solid start to pick up the win in the second game.

Covenant recorded eight extra-base hits, including two home runs, and received a complete-game performance from starter Micah Mabe to defeat Greensboro 8-1 in the opener of a three-game series. Coming off a 15-run effort on Tuesday at Sewanee that saw the Scots pound out nine extra-base hits, the bats were again clicking on Friday. Six different players recorded a double, while Scott Gillespie and Z Arima supplied the home runs.
