Bluffton hosted the Manchester Spartans on Sunday, April 12, to complete the three-game HCAC series. The Beavers took the victory in walk-off fashion as they beat the Spartans, 7-6, when senior Michael Alexander lifted a sacrifice fly to right field in the home half of the ninth. This marks Bluffton's first-ever Heartland series victory over the Spartans and the first time since 1986 that Bluffton has won two games against Manchester in the same season.

Castleton fell in the opener of today's doubleheader 12-0 before seizing a 3-0 victory in the finale, as the Spartans claimed three wins out of a four-game set this weekend over the Husson Eagles at Winkin Complex. In game one, the Eagles outhit the Spartans 11-6 and grabbed 12 runs in the first two innings, including a ten-run first, en route to a 12-0 victory. In game two, the Spartans captured their third victory of the series behing the pitching of Devin Hayes. The sophomore limited Husson to four hits while striking out six en route to a complete game shutout.

Nate Pajka hit three doubles and scored five runs as Bates defeated Colby 17-0 in the second game of a doubleheader at Leahey Field, to earn a split for the day and take two out of three games in the teams' NESCAC East Division series. Colby won 5-2 in the first game of the day, as Mules ace Soren Hanson scattered eight hits and two walks over 6.1  1/3 innings to move to 3-0. Hanson recorded seven strikeouts.

Trailing 4-3 and down to their final out, visiting Centenary rallied with four runs in the top of the ninth inning and held on for a 7-5 victory over Keystone in a CSAC game at Keystone’s Christy Mathewson Field.

Millikin defeated Illinois Wesleyan 7-6 on a walk off bases loaded single by freshman Julian Gutierrez at Sunnyside Field in Decatur, Illinois. The win broke the Titans 27 game winning streak against Millikin. The last Big Blue win in the series came on April 4, 2006.

Senior Jared Jensen hit his team-leading fourth home run and classmate Sean Conroy threw a complete-game shutout to lead RPI to a doubleheader sweep of Bard at Honey Field. With wins of 4-3 and 13-0, the Engineers improve to 14-8 overall and 13-3 in Liberty League play. The Raptors drop to 3-20 and 1-15.

In a Sunday CCC doubleheader, Western New England split with Endicott, winning 8-0 in the opened and losing 5-1 in the nightcap. In the opener, Western New England senior pitcher Trevor Breton tossed a complete-game shutout, going seven innings strong on the mound for the Golden Bears. In game two, both teams traded runs in the fifth before Endicott score four in the sixth to end the scoring.

Senior Adam Barry finished 4-for-5 with two doubles, one homer, two runs and four RBI to help pace Worcester State to a 10-9 victory over Becker in 10 inningsin non-conference baseball action at the Kevin Lyons Baseball Diamond.

Tom Muratore has 36 strikeouts in 38 innings pitched for Lesley in 2015.

Lesley freshman Tom Muratore continued his stellar rookie season as he went 8.2 IP and struck out a career-high 11 as the Lynx came from behind to top Southern Vermont 9-3 in NECC action. Muratore limited the Mountaineers to just five hits and three runs (one earned) and walked just three as he improves to 4-1 on the year.

Widener earned a pivotal Commonwealth Conference sweep over Arcadia at the Erny Field. The Pride defeated the Knights 4-3 in Game One and 6-5 in the nightcap. In both games Arcadia held early leads but could not hold off the Pride.

Hendrix earned a 3-1 win against Berry as Daniel Imbro outdueled his Vikings' counterpart to earn a crucial conference win. Imbro went 8.1 innings, scattering seven hits and striking out two. The only run he allowed was unearned and came in the top of the ninth. 

Joey McAlpin, Vernon Trice, Patrick Kulick and Andre Turnquest celebrated their Senior Day in style at Anderson Field, combining to go 8-for-15 with two home runs, a triple, two doubles, nine RBIs and six runs scored in a 12-8 Oglethorpe victory over Centre. All four Petrels honored during Senior Day had at least one extra-base hit, one RBI and one run scored on the afternoon. McAlpin had the most productive day of the four, as he went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, four RBIs and two runs scored, winding up just a double shy of hitting for the cycle.

Showing they could play two very different games, Eastern Mennonite picked up a clutch ODAC sweep of Roanoke on Senior Day. On the backs of defense and pitching, the Royals won the opener before out-scoring the Maroons in a wild nightcap. With the wins, Eastern Mennonite jumps from seventh in the conference standings into a tie for fifth.  The top six teams will make the ODAC Tournament, a fete EMU last accomplished in 2002.

Washington and Jefferson recovered from a loss in the opener to post a 9-2 victory in the second game, earning a doubleheader split and taking the season series against Saint Vincent. The Bearcats held W&J to just two hits in a 17-0 win over the Presidents.

Senior Bobby Rosano scored on a two-out wild pitch in the bottom of the sixth inning to lead Mass-Maritime to a 7-6 victory over Salem State in the opening game of a MASCAC doubleheader played at Commodore Hendy Field. Junior Sean Buckland tossed a complete-game two-hitter and struck out five to give the Vikings a split of the twinbill with a 4-1 nigthcap triumph.

With Hamilton's 5-1 win over Middlebury the Continentals collected their first series win at Middlebury in 16 years.

Hamilton defeated Middlebury 5-1 to take the NESCAC series. Alex Pachella threw his first career nine-inning complete-game, coming within an out of a shutout. He allowed five hits while striking out a season-best seven batters. Andrew Haser led the Continentals, matching a career high with three hits and scoring two runs. He came home with the game's first run on a second-inning single by David Rose to put Hamilton ahead for good.

MIT erupted for 16 hits and 16 runs in the first game of a NEWMAC doubleheader at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy to take a 16-6 win. The Bears came back with runs in the ninth and tenth in game two to take a 4-3, extra-inning victory and gain the split. Freshman Austin Filiere totaled seven hits on the afternoon for the Engineers.

Brandeis played its first two games since head coach Pete Varney won his 700th game and promptly got wins number 701 and 702 with a sweep of visiting Plymouth State in the first-ever meeting between the two programs on the diamond. The Judges walked off with a 4-3 win in the opener, and took a 7-2 decision with a big inning late in the game.

After falling in game one of the doubleheader, Penn State Behrend completed a three-run comeback in game two with a four run rally in the eighth inning. The Lions fell in game one 13-1, but rebounded to take the second game by a score of 4-3. La Roche won game one with an offensive outburst that included scoring runs in each inning of the game. 

Much like Saturday's doubleheader, Rochester won a low scoring game one and broke out the bats in game two to sweep a conference weekend against Skidmore at Towers Field. Rochester won game one 4-3, rallying from 3-0 down and took game two by a 13-7 score. Rochester has won 13 straight games and now sits atop the Liberty League standings with a 11-1 mark in the conference.

Connor Tom went 8-for-9 and tied a pair of school records in Gettysburg's doubleheader sweep of Ursinus.

Gettysburg pounded out 44 hits and 35 runs while sophomore rightfielder Connor Tom tied a pair of school records en route to a Centennial Conference sweep of Ursinus at a sunny Kirchhoff Field. The Bullets captured the opener 14-1 before winning the nightcap 21-6.  Tom led the offensive attack for the Bullets, finishing the day 8-for-9 with four runs, four doubles, and five RBIs. He enjoyed an outstanding performance in the nightcap, going 5-for-5 with four runs, three RBIs, and four doubles, which tied a Gettysburg record set by Frank Wolfgang nearly a half century ago on April 24, 1965 in an 8-6 win over Lafayette. Also, for the second time this season Tom tied numerous others for the most hits in a game.

Manhattanville split a two-game series with Eastern, winning game one in extra innings by a final score of 5-4 before falling in game two to the Eagles by a 9-5 finish in Freedom Conference play. Manhattanville combined for 18 hits against Eastern. Senior Bobby Guerra led the way offensively, finishing the day with four hits, three runs scored and an RBI.

Six runs in the top of the ninth inning turned a one-run game into a 9-2 blowout as Pacific Lutheran completed a three-game NWC series sweep against cross-town rival Puget Sound. Back-to-back home runs by Collin Nilson and Tyler Thompson scored four runs to put the game away. PLU holds a one-game lead and the tiebreaker advantage over Linfield in the conference standings heading into next weekend's final conference series.
