Senior right-hander Andrew Richards pitched four innings in relief to earn his seven win of the season, and in the process set the school record for career wins, as Southern Maine defeated the Framingham State, 12-8, at the Northeast Baseball Complex. The win was the sixth straight for the Huskies

No. 3 UW-Whitewater split for the second consecutive day to finish up a four-game WIAC series against UW-La Crosse at Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium. The Warhawks took the first game 16-5 in seven innings due to conference run rule before dropping Game 2 by an 11-7 count.

The No. 22 Trinity (Texas) Tigers finished off a SCAC series sweep with a 5-0 shutout win over the University of Dallas. Trinity has won six of its last seven games, including a pair of run-rule victories over the Crusaders in yesterday's doubleheader. The Tigers won 11-1 and 10-0 to open the series on Saturday, and also swept a three-game non-conference series from Dallas earlier this year.

No. 10-ranked St. Thomas used a grand slam and a three-run inside-the-park homer en route to a 12-3 game-two win over visiting St. Scholastica and a split of a non-conference doubleheader in St. Paul. The Saints scored eight runs in the first inning of game one and went on to a 9-2 victory.

The seventh-ranked UW-Stevens Point Pointers split a pair of one-run games against UW-Oshkosh, winning game one 2-1 in 10 innings before dropping game two 9-8 on at University Field. Ben Gerber dropped down a game-winning squeeze bunt with one out in the bottom of the 10th to give UW-Stevens Point a late win in game one, after Mitch Beau and Peter Jewell each turned in strong performances on the mound. In the nightcap, UW-Oshkosh overcame an early 5-0 deficit, scoring four runs in the seventh inning and held on in the final frame in the nightcap. Noah Polcyn reached base all five times for the Titans, who took advantage of UW-Stevens Point errors.

No. 25-ranked Ohio Northern earned a split of an OAC doubleheader with Otterbein at Wander Field. The Polar Bears won the nightcap 7-5 after the Cardinals won the opener 10-3. Freshman Dan McMullen went 2-for-4 with an RBI in each of the games to lead the ONU offense.

Behind a strong offense and an excellent pitching performance from Michael Inman, the 23rd ranked Methodist Monarchs picked up a huge 10-2 USA South win over Averett. The Monarchs claimed the series, after splitting on Saturday.  Inman was credited the win after pitching eight innings for Methodist, allowing just one run on nine hits with six strikeouts and three walks.  The Monarchs scored in all but two innings.

In the first game, Kyle Chontos was 3-for-5 with a double, grand slam home run, two runs scored and six RBI.

No. 16 Baldwin Wallace swept OAC foe Wilmington in an doubleheader at Tewksbury-Delaney Field. The Yellow Jackets won the first game, 12-2, and captured the nightcap, 7-5.

The eighth-ranked Frostburg State Bobcats used a three-run sixth and eighth inning to propel the Bobcats to an 11-6 win over Penn State Altoona on Senior Day. McElfish led the Bobcats with three hits as Frostburg looks forward to the start of the CAC tournament on Tuesday.

Daniel Ross struck out seven over six strong innings and the 12th-ranked Majors scored late and held off Sewanee 6-5 to complete a three-game sweep. Ross went the first six innings, allowing two runs on seven hits to go along with his seven strikeouts. Millsaps dropped a seven inning non-conference game with Sewanee 8-6. following the SAA conest on Sunday.

North Park completed a three-game sweep of No. 20 Augustana with a 7-0 shutout in Moline. Jason Meger turned in a complete-game performance, scattering nine singles while walking none and relying on flawless defense behind him as Augie batters grounded into fifteen outs.

Home runs from seniors Corey VanDomelen and Jo Carroll provided the offensive highlights and the No. 24 Wildcat defense turned three double plays as part of a 7-0 shutout victory against Whitman on Senior Day at Roy Helser Field. Justin Davis surrendered just four hits and one walk through seven innings to register the win. Allowing no more than a single baserunner per inning, the senior right-hander coaxed the Missionaries into 10 groundouts while tallying four strikeouts.
