Penn State Behrend closed out their Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference regular season campaign with a sweep of Medaille, winning 9-1 and 12-3 Wednesday afternoon. The Lions' set their bats on fire during the doubleheader, registering 13 hits in game one and 16 in game two. The Mavericks pitching staff just did not have an answer for Behrend's lineup. John Hlavinka combined to go 3-for-7 with three RBIs and three runs scored.

A little over a year past their 22-10 loss in a record-breaking affair in 2015, Staten Island exacted a little bit of payback in this year’s edition of the ‘Bayonne Bridge Series', handing New Jersey City a 13-7 loss on its home field. Last year, the Knights handed the Dolphins a numbing loss on a day when they set single game CSI opponent records with 30 hits and 11 doubles. This time around the Dolphins got a big cushion early, held on, and then resurrected the advantage into the later innings holding on to victory.
Andrew Deloury's three-run seventh inning double pushed the Vikings of Salem State past the Beavers of Babson 7-3 at the Central Campus Baseball Field. Daniel Singleton went 3-for-4 with two runs for the Vikings. Deloury's three RBIs led all teams.
Thiel cruised to a 15-5 victory on the road over the Geneva Golden Tornadoes in a Presidents' Athletic Conference contest to clinch the three-game series sweep. Every Thiel starter recorded a hit in the victory and Thiel scored in every inning except the first and sixth innings.
No. 25 Johns Hopkins clinched its 15th consecutive Centennial Conference Tournament appearance with a 5-1 win at Washington College. Nick Burns threw seven strong innings in the win, allowing just four hits and one run while striking out five. Burns had five 1-2-3 innings and retired the last 12 hitters he faced. Ross Lazicky came on to pitch the eighth and ninth innings for the Jays and only allowed one Shoreman to reach base. Raul Shah, Brian Lin and Ryan Orgielewicz each had two-hit games for the Blue Jays.
Colby-Sawyer split a pair of North Atlantic Conference games with Lyndon State. Lyndon won game one 6-4, while Colby-Sawyer took game two 8-2. Colby Sawyer is three games behind fourth place Maine-Farmington for the final NAC tournament spot. Maine-Farmington split with Thomas 0-2, 18-5 today.
Austin Clock's three-run triple highlighted Cortland's five-run seventh inning that broke a 3-3 tie and the nationally top-ranked Red Dragons held on to defeat Hamilton, 9-6, under the lights at DeLutis Field. The Red Dragons will close out the regular season with three home games before hosting the SUNYAC tournament.
Senior Kevin Kwedor scattered four hits and struck out a pair over six innings of work to lead Massachusetts Maritime to a 6-3 nightcap victory over Bridgewater State and a split of a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at Alumni Park. The host Bears plated three runs in the bottom of the sixth of the opener to break a late inning tie and post an 8-5 triumph.

Frank Fortunato and Mark Merlino both went 4-for-4, while Nick Gatins and Michael Ruffing each tallied a pair of hits, in Washington & Jefferson's 10-2 nonconference win over Muskingum. The four hits for each of Fortunato and Merlino both represented career highs and the third and fourth times this season that a President has tallied four hits in a game, joining Ryan Sciullo and Nick Vento. Merlino added an RBI and scored three times, while Fortunato crossed the plate once. Gatins went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored, while Ruffing brought in three in going 2-for-2.
Ithaca defeated SUNY Brockport, 7-2, in a non-conference contest at Freeman Field. Ithaca has won seven straight games to run its record to 20-12 overall, which is the 40th time in program history that the Bombers have tallied 20 victories in a season, and the 34th under head coach George Valesente.
Five Williams pitchers combined to throw a 6-hit shut out RPI at Bobby Coombs Field. Alex Beschloss started for the Ephs and tossed the first four frames. Will O'Brien followed and went 2.1 innings and was credited with the win. Michael Cassidy, Tom Benz and Arnie Capute also pitched for Williams. It was the first shutout thrown by Williams in the 2016 season and the first since May 2, 2015, when Luke Rodino blanked Suffolk in an eight-inning affair.
Wooster held off a late rally by Kenyon to the opener 6-4, then received seven shutout innings from Nanak Saran and an eight-run sixth to roll to a 12-1 victory in the nightcap of the North Coast Athletic Conference East Division foes' doubleheader at Art Murray Field. With the wins, Wooster completes a four-game regular season sweep of Kenyon, and the Fighting Scots strengthened their position atop the NCAC East as they are two games ahead of Allegheny with four to play.
After a strong showing at the Capital Athletic Conference tournament this past weekend, Marymount continued its impressive season with a 7-3 victory in the nation's capital over Catholic. Senior Charlie DiGiulian collected his third win on the mound this season, tossing a solid 6.1 innings for just two runs and four strikeouts.
Marian tied a season-high with 17 base knocks in a 10-4 non-conference win against Ripon. Three different Sabres would record multi-hit games led by Tyler Thompson who went 3-4 with three runs batted in and two runs scored along with one walk.
All nine starters recorded a hit and freshman pitcher Fernando Burgos cruised through six innings, to lead UMass Boston to a sweep of #18 Southern Maine with a 9-4 win. The Beacons picked up their first regular season sweep since 2012 over Southern Maine and their third sweep in the past decade. Overall, UMass Boston has gone 9-7 against the Huskies since May of 2010.
Junior Robbie Hopes hit a two-out, two-strike, two-run single in the bottom of the ninth to give the Muhlenberg a walkoff 7-6 Centennial Conference win against Dickinson. The game continued the tradition of close calls between Muhlenberg and Dickinson. Of the last seven meetings, five were decided by one run and one ended in a tie.

In a matchup between two NEIBA regionally-ranked teams for the second time this season, Suffolk jumped out early scoring four runs over the first three innings en route to defeating Endicott 8-2 under the lights of North Field. The Gulls saw a strong long-relief appearance from Eric Nagle but were countered by an even better starting performance by Suffolk's Chuck Gibson. Gibson spun his third complete game of the season and allowed two earned runs on seven hits while striking out six in the Rams victory.
St. Norbert put Concordia (Wisc.) into an early hole that the Falcons couldn't fully recover, falling in an 8-3 contest at the Green KNights home field. The Falcons fell behind, 4-0, before cutting the Green Knights lead to one in the fifth inning. Ultimately, St. Norbert would add insurance runs late for the 8-3 win.
Tim Ford went 3-for-4 with four RBI in Nichols' 13-2 win over Anna Maria in non-conference action at the Nichols Baseball Field. Cam Cook added three hits and three RBI as the Bison have won three of four. Matt Hardy picked up two RBI. Matt Elliot went 3-for-3 for the AMCats while Jonathan Roy recorded two of the team's six hits.
Chris Polaski tossed eight nearly flawless innings shutting down local rival Moravian and leading DeSales to a 6-1 win. Polaski allowed just two hits over eight innings as Moravian scored just one run, a solo home run, in the seventh inning as Polaski struck out three to earn his second win of the season in his first start of the year.
Brandeis extended their winning streak to nine games with a 7-4 victory over Wentworth as the Judges played under the lights of Stein Diamond for the first time since 2009. The nine-game winning streak for Brandeis is their longest since the 2002 season, when they strung together 10 wins in a row between April 9 and April 24.
