Bridgewater (Va.) wiped out a 5-2 deficit with six runs in the top of the ninth inning Friday to stay alive in the ODAC tournament with an 8-5 victory over Virginia Wesleyan at Lynchburg's City Stadium. Chris King drove in two with a double to the gap in leftcenter to give the Eagles a 7-5 lead and scored on a double by Ryan Leake for an 8-5 advantage.

Rick Spiers allowed one earned run over seven innings and Michael Trentham drove in four as the second-ranked and second-seeded Randolph-Macon defeated third-seeded Washington and Lee 8-3 in 2016 ODAC Tournament. The Yellow Jackets are the only undefeated team left in the tournament after Hampden-Sydney defeated Shenandoah 4-3. In Saturday's schedule, Shenandoah will face the Generals in an elimination game. Hampden-Sydney will meet Bridgewater in a second elimination game. R-MC will face the Shenandoah-W&L winner in the day's finale.
Third-ranked Trinity (Texas) Tigers rallied from a four-run deficit to defeat Centenary (La.) 9-8 in the opening of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. In a back-and-forth showdown that featured five lead changes, second-seeded Trinity pulled ahead for good with two runs in the bottom of the seventh against third seed Centenary. Trinity will play Texas Lutheran, a 3-1 winnier over Southwestern.
Southern Vermont became the all-time winningest squad in program history as the third-seeded Mountaineers defeated No. 2 Elms 5-3 in New England Collegiate Conference playoff action at Mitchell.Mitchell doubled up Lesley 10-5 to win the final game of the day in the NECC tournament.
No. 21 Wartburg swept Loras. The Knights won the opener in a walkoff 4-3 and the nightcap, Loras freshman Austin Konagel was the offensive staras he went a combined 9-for-9 from the plate with one triple on the day.
Kean clinched first place and the New Jersey Athletic Conference regular season title by defeating Rowan by the final of 9-5. The Cougars improved to 13-3 in NJAC play with two games left to go in the conference regular season. The next closest team stands with a 10-6 mark as Ramapo, Rowan, The College of New Jersey and Montclair State are all tied with that record. Ramapo, an 8-1 winner over William Paterson and Montclair State edged Rutgers-Camden 2-1 to claim spot in the NJAC Tournament.
Nathan Sides went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and Matt Backlund threw seven strong innings leading Alvernia to a 5-0 win over Arcadia in MAC Commonwealth action at Angelica Park.
With the win, the Crusaders locked up the top seed in the conference championships next week in York. Widener and Messiah will jockey for the second and third seeds in the tournament and Stevenson and Lebanon Valley are both still alive for the fourth seed.

Cason Cunningham and Cal Neely combined for a two-hit shutout and Finn McMichael supplied two hits at the top of the order to help Linfield score a 3-0 victory over George Fox at Roy Helser Field. The Wildcats held a 1-0 advantage after five innings before lightning, thunder and heavy rain caused a 45-minute delay in action. After the break, Neely worked out of a two-on, one-out jam before Brady Rediger and McMichael drove in a pair of runs to spot the 'Cats a modest but insurmountable 3-0 lead. Retiring nine of 10 Bruins over the final three innings, Neely ensured Linfield locked up the victory.
Jesse Arnold improved to 7-0 on the mound this spring after striking out 13 batters in seven innings to lead Keystone to a 6-1 victory over Centenary in a Colonial States Athletic Conference game played at the Allamuchy Green Acres Park.
Carthage solidified its hold on fourth place in the league with a 5-4 win over conference-opponent Millikin in Decatur, Ill. With the win, combined with Wheaton (Ill.) losing to North Park, 7-5, the Red Men have a two-game lead over both the Thunder and Elmhurst.
Endicott swept a pair of Commonwealth Coast Conference from Eastern Nazarene by scores of 13-3 and 11-4 at Adams Field. Endicott scored seven runs to open up the first inning against the Lions and never looked back en route to its game one victory. In game two, the Gulls used another big first inning rally, this time scoring six runs, to claim an eventual 11-4 victory and also complete the sweep versus the Lions.
Johns Hopkins won its fifth consecutive game and improved its unbeaten streak to 15 with a 10-3 victory over visiting Washington College. Hopkins clinched the Centennial Conference regular season title and will host the CC tourney for the second-straight year. The Jays hit four home runs in the win and got a dominating, five-inning effort from Preston Betz out of the bullpen.
Thiel downed the Grove City Wolverines 7-6 in a nine-inning Presidents' Athletic Conference contest at Tomcat Park. Riley Schwertz earned his sixth win of the season. He struck out three while allowing only three earned runs. Alex Yoder and Patrick Fitzpatrick combined to pitch two scoreless innings in relief. Jaden Nozicka shut down a late Grove City rally with two outs getting a flyout to pick up his first save of the season. Despite the loss, Grove City earned their first playoff appearance since 2011.
Junior Tom Gibbons went 3-for-5, including the 100th hit of his career, as King's (Pa.) clinched its first Freedom Conference Tournament berth since 2011 with a 10-2 victory over visiting FDU-Florham at Lipo Field. With the win, King's improved to 22-12 overall and the Monarchs officially doubled their win output from a year ago as King's went 11-21 in 2015. King's will be the fourth seed in next week's conference playoffs.

Washington (Mo.) bounced back from a game one loss to DePauw to earn a 9-5 win in game two as the the two teams squared off in the start of a four-game series at Kelly Field. The Bears suffered a 5-1 loss in the opener. Junior Ben Browdy went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, a pair of walks and drove in three runs in game two to set the WashU single-season record for RBIs with 69. Browdy ranks first in NCAA Division III and fourth in all NCAA Divisions in RBIs.
Castleton scored 29 runs on the day and extended their winning streak to 20 games with a North Atlantic Conference doubleheader sweep, 14-0, 15-1, over the Lyndon Hornets at Spartan Field. With the two victories, Castleton has now won at least 28 games in each of the last five seasons.
Austin Spindler threw his second shutout on the season as the Brockport Golden Eagle picked up its 20th win of the season by defeating the SUNY New Paltz Hawks 6-0. With the 6-0 win, Brockport reached 20 wins for the 14th straight season. The Golden Eagle offense set the pace outhitting the Hawks 13-6 while Spindler worked the strike zone needing just 97 pitches for his sixth victory on the season.
Stevens scored five times in the first three innings and hung on to a 7-3 Empire 8 Conference win over Houghton. Carlos Leon went 2-for-3 with three runs scored, while Harrison Kaye was 2-for-4 with the three RBI's. Robert Robbins fanned six in his six innings, while the bullpen tossed three innings of hitless relief.
