Eric Egan tied a season high with three RBI to lead the Union College baseball team to a 5-2 win against Middlebury Tuesday evening at Shuttleworth Park. Egan finished 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base to lead the Union offense.

Ramapo won 5-2 over Rowan in the first round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship Tournament. The Profs, the fourth seed, will host the sixth seed William Paterson on Thursday as the Pioneers upset top seeded Kean, 5-3 in the opening round. Montclair State travels to second seed The College of New Jersey on Wednesday for the final first round game.
Struggling to slow down the Chicago offense, No. 12 North Central (Ill.) dropped a 14-6 decision in a non-conference matchup at Zimmerman Stadium.
The Maroons went off on Cardinal pitching to score in seven of the nine innings, racking up 20 hits in the process.
Home sweet home. Stevens, coming home from a month long road trip earned a walked off win, 3-2 over Keystone in 12 innings at Dobbelaar Field. The Ducks lift their overall record to 25-13 on the spring while the Giants, who are currently ranked 22nd in the country, slide to 27-9 on the year.
Lakeland swept a nonconference doubleheader from Lawrence at Muskie Field. Lakeland rallied for two runs in the final inning to win the opener 10-9 and then took the nightcap 17-3. Lawrence outhit the Muskies 25-23 but committed nine errors opposed to Lakeland's two.
The perfect elixir when the Beavers have needed a quick pick-me-up this season has been rival Defiance. For the second time in two weeks, Bluffton has busted up a losing streak of at least three games against the Yellow Jackets. The Beavers capped a season sweep at Defiance with a 7-4 victory. It marks Bluffton's fourth sweep of DC in the past nine years, but the first time since it went to a three-game series.
Pomona-Pitzer came back in the top of the ninth to defeat Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent La Verne 16-12 at Ben Hines Field. Junior David Gerics picked up the win to move him to 7-0 on the year as he only needed one inning of work to pick up the victory.

Illinois Wesleyan baseball lodged a 4-2 nonconference victory over Monmouth at Horenberger Field. Monmouth outhit Illinois Wesleyan in the Fighting Scots' season finale, but came up just short. The Titans have a three game series left with Wheaton (Ill.) before entering the post-season.
Matt Andrus and Josh Knorr combined for six hits and five runs batted in, and Shane Healy pitched six effective innings, as Adrian came from behind to cruise past Trine, 14-4, in a MIAA make-up contest. With the win, Adrian captures at least a share of the MIAA regular season title.
Endicott closed out its 2016 regular season with an 19-3 win over St. Joseph's (Me.) at Larry Mahaney Diamond. Kevin Gould earned his first career win out of the pen for the Gulls on two scoreless innings of work (fifth and sixth innings). The Gulls put up a five-spot on the scoreboard in the top of the first inning and never looked back.
An RBI sacrifice fly off the bat of designated hitter Lucas Gramman and Hunter Lane scooting home on a wild pitch sent Manchester past Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference rival Anderson by a score of 2-0. The two scores were more than enough to bolster a glittering combined six-hit shutout from Cory Ferguson and Taylor Kopplin.
Wooster took advantage of seven walks issued during the first two innings, and 11 overall, as it jumped out to an early 7-1 lead on Otterbein and rolled to an 11-3 non-conference victory at Westerville, Ohio. At the plate, Michael Wielansky led the way with a 2-for-3, two-walk day.
Elmira concluded its home slate when Elmira kicked off the first of a two-game home-and-home series against Pitt-Bradford. The Soaring Eagles dominated proceedings from the first pitch, racking up 10 runs on 15 hits in a 10-3 victory over the Panthers. Although Elmira baseball is nearing the finish line of its second season of existence, it was truly a special evening for the program as it honored the first graduating class to pass through the program.
Sam Stauble tallied seven RBIs for Southern Maine en route to a 15-5 win over host Bowdoin. The Polar Bears recorded two quick innings against the Huskies before the visitors' bats came alive for five runs in the third. Sam Dexter, with two hits, needs 26 more to set the all time D-III hits record.

Lasell eliminated Rivier in the First Round of Great Northeast Athletic Conference playoffs, 10-4, at the New England Baseball Complex. Sophomore Dom Mascolo reached base three times on the night and swung into an RBI single, while seniors Wes Hurty and Skylar Beckerman both smacked two hits on the night.

Wabash honored their seniors but could not complete the celebration, losing both games of its doubleheader as the Little Giants dropped a pair NCAC West games against the Denison Big Red by the scores of 7-5 and 5-3. The losses solidified Denison as the winners of the western half of the NCAC while locking Wabash into fourth place in the division.
Amherst registered 11 hits, including two home runs by Anthony Spina, to down non-conference opponent Framingham State , 6-4 at the NE Baseball Complex. Recording a game-high four hits, Spina led the Amherst offense, finishing 4-for-5 with three runs and three RBI's.
Grove City closed its 2016 regular-season schedule with a non-conference doubleheader sweep of D'Youville, shutting out the Spartans 5-0 in the opener before rolling to a 19-8 victory in the nightcap. With the pair of victories, Grove City has tied the program record for regular-season wins with 25, matching the 25 regular-season victories recorded by the 2006 Wolverines. Andy Fritz set the single-season record for doubles with his 16th of the year and also became the second Wolverine this year to reach the 100-hit plateau for this career.
