Tufts junior 2B Elias Varinos tripled home the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth in the opener, then junior RF Ryan Day had four hits to lead the Jumbos' 18-hit attack in the nightcap as Tufts swept a NESCAC East Division doubleheader from Bowdoin on Sunday 5-4 and 16-0. Sophomore DH Kyle Cortese homered in both games and freshman pitcher Aidan Tucker had a save in the first game and earned the win in game two was Tufts improved to 18-5 overall and 5-1 in the NESCAC East. Senior Ben Suski homered in game one and scored twice on the day for Bowdoin, who dropped to 3-17-1 and 3-6 in the NESCAC East. Including Saturday's 7-6 walk-off win, Tufts swept the weekend three-game series from the Polar Bears.
Rochester earned a conference weekend series win, splitting a doubleheader with St. Lawrence at Tom Fay Field. Host St. Lawrence (5-17, 3-9 Liberty League) won game one by a 2-1 score, with Rochester (15-13, 9-7 Liberty League) taking the second game by an 8-4 score. Game one was a pitchers duel between UR's Jack Denzer and SLU's Caleb Clarke, with the seven-inning affair only yielding ten hits combined between both teams. In game two, the Yellowjackets pounded out 17 hits to earn the win after trailing early in the contest, using a big sixth inning to power past the hosts.
Seniors Justin Cherry and Anthony Cameron held Juniata scoreless over the final three innings and Elizabethtown still had some late-inning magic left in them from Saturday's pair of walkoffs to get the series sweep over Juniata on Sunday at Kevin Scott Boyd Stadium. A four-run rally in the eighth put the Blue Jays in front and Cameron earned his first save of the year. Derek Manning homered for the fourth time in six games with his league-leading eighth of the season, a three-run home run the opposite way.
Down to their final out and their final strike on four different occasions, the Louisiana College baseball team scored four runs to force extra innings against Hardin-Simmons University on Sunday afternoon. The Wildcats would scratch across a run in the top of the 12th and behind the combine eight scoreless innings from Caleb Prejean and Phillip Vidrine, come away with a dramatic 6-5 win over the Cowboys. In the 12th inning LC would get the leadoff man on as Clayton Noakes reached on an infield single and advanced to second on a throwing error. After a perfect sacrifice bunt by Deauton Delgado, the Cats would finally get their key hit when Keelyn Johnson ripped one back up the middle to put LC on top for the first time in the game at 6-5. In the bottom of the inning the Cowboys would get the leadoff run on board and miss ending the game on a walk-off home run by mere inches two batters later.
Keuka completed the regular season sweep of Gallaudet, defeating the Bison 17-6 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game on Sunday. Dan Bamann led Keuka College (11-13, 6-3 NEAC) with four hits on the day. The senior also drove in two runs and scored two as well. Freshman Nick Brown continued his hot hitting, collecting three hits for the Wolves. Sunday was the 11th straight win for Keuka against Gallaudet. The Wolves lead the all-time series 13-8. Keuka totaled 20 hits against the Bison, ninth most in program history,

St. Joseph's (L.I.) came away with a Skyline Conference split with St. Joseph's (Bklyn) at Gregg Alfano Field. The Golden Eagles cruised to an 11-0 win in game one before falling 4-3 in extra innings in game two. Senior Tyler Costa led the Golden Eagles at the plate going 4-for-4 with an RBI and four runs scored. Junior Tyler Sanderson pitched in with two hits and three RBIs in game one. SJCLI starter Tim Woodford earned his fourth win scattering four hits while striking out six in a complete game effort. Game two was extended past regulation when Anthony Palermo singled through the left side in the first extra frame, driving in J.J. McLaughli.
Senior Jeff Yordy finished a home run shy of the cycle and junior Nick Dinnocenti tossed five innings of one-run ball to lift the Albright Lions (9-18, 5-10 MACC) to a 9-5 victory over the Alvernia Golden Wolves (20-10-1, 11-4 MACC) in the series finale at Angelica Park. Alvernia's offense produced too little too late with a four run bottom of the ninth to get within four of the Lions. Adams (3-5, 3B, 2 RBI, 2 R), Pennypacker (2-4, 2B, SB, 3 R) and Yordy (3-5, 2B, 3B, 4 RBI, R) registered multi-hit games for the Lions.
Oglethorpe salvaged a game from their three-game series with the Hendrix Warriors in style Sunday at Anderson Field. Junior first baseman Jack Bartlewski launched a walkoff solo home run in the ninth inning to turn what had been a back-and-forth contest into an 11-10 Stormy Petrel victory. The win snapped Oglethorpe's 10-game losing streak and improved them to 10-26 overall and 6-12 in SAA play on the season. With the score tied 10-10 going to the bottom of the ninth, Bartlewski took the first pitch he saw from Hendrix reliever Jacob Wagner and rocketed a high drive off a pine tree beyond the right-field fence, securing victory for Oglethorpe. It came after Hendrix twice erased two-run Oglethorpe leads and tied the game.
Needing a big conference win, Clarks Summit (3-16, 1-5) faced off against rivals Cairn (13-13, 5-1). The Highlanders, being previously undefeated in conference, were shocked by the Defenders, as CSU scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning to win 6-5 in game one. The bottom of the seventh was a wild one. Ryan Clark drew a walk after the first batter was retired via a strikeout. Noah Baliey followed Clark and smashed a ball deep to left field, putting two runners in scoring position. Clark would then score on a passed ball to tie the game at five with only one out and a man on third. Two consecutive walks saw the bases loaded for the Defenders. Jacob Leisinger stepped up to the plate with a chance to win the first CSAC game in the history of Clarks Summit University. The freshman grounded a ball to the right side, scoring Bailey from third and sending the bench into a frenzy, swarming the walk-off hero Leisinger. Game two was won by the visitors 7-3.

RIT (12-12, 7-5 Liberty League) beat the rain and earned a hard-fought doubleheader split at Clarkson (13-11, 9-3 Liberty League) from Jack Phillips Stadium. RIT rallied from a 3-1 deficit and won 6-3 on a walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning by Patrick Blackall in game one. Clarkson let a 7-1 lead slip away before scoring six times in the top of the ninth inning to take game two, 14-9.
Eastern scored five first-inning runs and held on for a 7-6 MAC Freedom win over the visiting Manhattanville Valiants. Brad Clemens was 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI's to pace the Eastern offense. With Eastern's three weekend starters already throwing in the Delaware Valley. The responsibility for containing the Manhattanville offense fell on Matt Poma. The first-year right-hander threw six-plus innings to pick up his first collegiate win. He allowed six hits and four earned runs in his longest outing of the year. The win over Manhattanville gives the Eagles their first series win of the year and a tiebreaker against a team in contention.
In a doubleheader that meant a great deal in terms of playoff positioning, Staten Island took a pair of huge wins against Lehman as part of CUNYAC play, sweeping the season series against the Lightning, and catapulting the Dolphins into second place in the standings. CSI won the opener, 15-6, before motoring through a 7-5 win in the second face-off. Coming into the recent four-game CUNYAC swing, CSI was sitting in fifth place in the standings, but with the recent four game tear, the team is 13-15 overall and 5-4 in CUNYAC play. With the pair of losses, Lehman fell to 7-19, 1-5, respectively.
Behind strong pitching from sophomore Darren Kilpatrick and hitting from classmate Parker Ridge, Wartburg (8-20 overall, 5-10 A-R-C) defeated the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves (6-18, 4-8) 6-0. In the victorious effort, Kilpatrick went 9-9 in retiring the first batter of each inning, struck out five batters overall and pitched his first career complete game en route to picking up his fourth career win. Ridge led the Knights by going a perfect 3-3 at the plate with a RBI. Junior Tyler Hovick went 2-3 at the plate with a RBI, while sophomore Brett Kelting recorded his first career hit and RBI in his lone pinch hitting opportunity.

Skidmore posted its first four-game Liberty League sweep of the season with 8-2 and 9-4 road wins over Vassar. The Thoroughbreds have won eight straight for a 15-9 overall and 6-6 Liberty. The Brewers are 11-19 and 5-12. Skidmore opened a 4-1 behind a strong start on the mound by Spencer Anderson. Anderson (3-3) went five innings, giving up one run on five hits with eight strikeouts. He walked two. Jonathan Kaiser had 1.1 innings of shutout relief. In the nightcap, Skidmore dodged trouble in extra innings before scoring five runs with two outs in the 12th inning to break the game open.
Ben Miller singled up the middle to score Edward Malinoski, Jr. as the SUNY Canton baseball team earned a thrilling walk-off win defeating Stevens, 7-6, on Sunday morning in Empire 8 action. The teams were originally scheduled for a doubleheader with the second game being a non-conference contest, but that was canceled due to rain. Brett Hoberman and Joseph Campbell led Canton with two hits each, while Hoberman drove in three runs. Edward Malinoski scored three times and drew three walks, while Collin Lynk also reached base twice on a pair of free passes.
Southern Vermont College picked up a huge pair of NECC wins at Laurie Cox Field as the visiting Mountaineers defeated New England College 11-4 and then 10-5. The sweep helped SVC end a six-game losing streak and could potentially play a big, tie-breaking role in the league's playoff seeding. Mountaineer senior righty Ryan Richards remained undefeated from the mound as he improved to 3-0 on the season; he went all seven innings and struck out three in the game one victory. Junior righty Kyle Liddy moved to the hill in the nightcap and tallied a season-best six strikeouts through 6.2 innings of the victory (2-1). Southern Vermont (8-14-1, 3-7 NECC) is back in action on Wednesday with a non-conference tilt at Williams.
Union completed the weekend sweep of Bard, defeating the Raptors, 5-1 and 5-4, on Sunday at Honey Field. The Dutchmen have now won their last six games and improve to 12-10 on the season with an 8-4 mark in Liberty League play. Bard falls to 12-16 (6-10 LL) after the doubleheader loss. Anthony Amoroso led the Dutchmen in the two games, going 3-for-5 (.600) with two RBI's and one run. Chris O'Brien and Jack Myers both hit .500 on the day with three hits, while Myers had two RBI and O'Brien led the Dutchmen with three runs. On the mound, first year Chris Murdock recorded his first complete game and his third win of the season, keeping Bard to just one run on one hit. Dominic Nardone earned his first win of the season in game two, pitching 6.0 innings, while Blake Newcomer picked up his second save of the weekend, throwing 3.0 innings in relief.
