June 2, 2023 Ratchford selected as Falcons’ head coach Albertus Magnus College athletic department will turn to a Connecticut native as its next head coach. Ian Ratchford, who served as the head coach at the University of Connecticut Avery Point for the past four seasons, will take over as the Falcons' skipper effective Monday, June 5.
March 23, 2022 Falcons Suffer Setback to Coast Guard Academy NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College baseball team suffered a setback to the Bears of Coast Guard Academy on Wednesday afternoon, falling by a final score of 12-1. Sean Jefferson (West Haven, Conn.) tallied the lone RBI for the Falcons, lofting a sacrifice fly into center field to score Joe Matthews (Anaheim, Calif.) from third in the eighth inning.
