LOS ANGELES – Gallaudet University baseball outfielder William Chapman (Los Angeles, Calif.) was selected to the 2012 Jewish Sports Review All-America first team for college baseball at the Division II, III and NAIA levels for a second year in a row. This is Chapman's third award this year as he was selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Division III South Region third team and the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) all-conference first team. Chapman is the only player from a NEAC school on this All-America team.

Grays, the newest members of the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League, has been a golden opportunity for the two Bison players. Gallaudet University has been hosting the D.C. MINNEAPOLIS – Gallaudet University sophomore outfielder William Bissell (Brewer, Maine) was named to the 2012 All-South Region first team as announced by D3baseball.com.
Bissell, the two-time North Eastern Athletic Conference West Division Player of the Year and two-time all-conference first teamer, is the only sophomore on the first team. The Maine native is the lone representative from the NEAC to be selected to the first team of any of the eight regional teams as selected by the national website.

Gallaudet had five honorees, the most in the conference, as three Bison made the first team and two players were picked to the second team.
