Elsewhere Mary Washington and Virginia Wesleyan earning upset conference wins.
May 8, 2023 Mary Washington wins tune-up for C2C tournament Mary Washington erupted for nine runs in the first inning, and rapped out 15 hits in a 16-7 victory at Penn State-Harrisburg. Wheaton (Mass.) and Piedmont won conference tournament on Monday.
April 20, 2023 Kean extends NJAC lead Kean extended their NJAC lead on Thursday with a 14-3 win over NJCU. Rowan kept pace, 1.5 games back with a win of their own. In Virginia it was Mary Washington adding to their at-large playoff resume with a win over ranked Randolph Macon

Their 28 game win streak, dating back to last season, was halted by Mary Washington on Monday.. ECSU was not the only Top 5 team to fall as Salisbury and Rowan were dealt setbacks on the day.
March 13, 2023 Late Charge Lifts UMW Past #3 Eastern Conn. State, 7-4 Senior pinch hitter Tim Blankenship broke a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the eighth inning, and the UMW baseball team added two more runs in the inning to defeat third-ranked Eastern Connecticut State University, 7-4, on Monday afternoon at V. Earl Dickinson Stadium. The Eagles improve to 13-5 on the season, and run their win streak to seven straight.
