August 12, 2024 Stark hired to lead Tufts Tufts school officials announced Bryan Stark as the next head coach of the Jumbo baseball team. Stark was most recently the Associate Head Coach at Division I Harvard University, spending the last 10 years in Cambridge with the Crimson.
June 27, 2024 Svagdis leaves Tufts for D2 Westmont Director of Athletics John Morris announced this afternoon that after three years with the Jumbo baseball program, head coach Paul Svagdis has resigned his position to take over as head baseball coach at Division II Westmont University in Santa Barbara, California
February 14, 2024 Region 1 Preview: New England I When you look at the best in Region 1, there are the usual suspects. No. 17 Wheaton (Mass.) Lyons and the Tufts Jumbos. The leaders of these two conferences has dominated the likes of the the GNAC or the NAC. These days, the GNAC and NAC are on the up swing adding top teams who needed a home after the NEAC split up at the end of the 2023 season.
May 14, 2023 Tufts earns NESCAC title With 12-1 victory over Middlebury Sophomore hurler Connor Podeszwa twirled a gem in the 2023 NESCAC championship game, and the offense scored in each of the first seven innings in rolling to their conference-leading seventh all-time NESCAC title.
April 25, 2023 Tufts doubles up Eastern Nazarene on Tuesday Tufts doubled up Eastern Nazarene, 6-3 on Tuesday in a key regional contest. In Atlanta, Emory slugged their way to a big win over LaGrange as they pad their resume for a possible at-large bid to the NCAA Playoffs.
April 18, 2022 Tufts gets Patriots Day win The sporting event of the day in Bean Town is the Boston Marathon but several Boston area teams got in games. Tufts bounced back from a weekend of losses and Westfield State earned a MASCAC win over MCLA.
