    UW-Stevens Point head baseball coach Nat Richter won his first game in UWSP's home opener, a 10-0 no-hitter win in eight innings over visiting Finlandia (0-4). The Pointers (2-2) completed the sweep with a 16-1 run-rule victory in game two.

    Former Pointers second baseman Nat Richter returns to UW-Stevens Point as the head baseball coach, UWSP athletic director Brad Duckworth announced today (Dec. 10). Richter becomes the 15th coach in program history and just the third since his playing days under Pat Bloom in 2004.

    Washington University announced the hiring of Pat Bloom as head coach of the Bears’ baseball team. Bloom is the 13th baseball coach in program history. Bloom leaves UWSP after 12 seasons as the head coach of the Pointers.
