April 6, 2025 Methodist maintains top spot in slugfest Methodist remained at the top of the USA South standings coming on top of a slugfest with Brevard. Crown also survived a slugfest with UW-Superior in their opener of a UMAC doubleheader where both teams put double digits on the board.
May 13, 2022 UMAC tournament turned upside down UW-Superior was the final team to qualify for the UMAC tournament and with a 9-3 win over Crown advances to the Championship round. Earlier, top seeded North western won their first elimination contest and is battling in another with Crown late Friday night.
November 17, 2021 Pufall to lead Mountaineer program Berea school officials announced Frank Pufall as their new head coach. Pufall comes to Berea most recently from Northland. Prior to his time at Northland, Pufall served as head baseball coach at the University of Wisconsin-Superior for five seasons.
May 8, 2021 Rodriguez plays all nine positions as UW-Superior sweeps Martin Luther Mike Rodriguez made some history, becoming the first Yellowjacket to play every position in a single game on may 8th. And for good measure, Rodriguez went 2-for-4 at the plate, as well.
May 9, 2019 UW-Superior surprises St. Scholastica Two complete games, two wins for UW-Superior as they find themselves two wins from the NCAA Playoffs. It was a busy day as the final weekend of tournament games started in earnest.
July 8, 2013 Bursik promoted from assistant ranks UW-Superior assistant coach Nick Bursik was named the interm head coach of the Yellowjacket program. Bursik replaces Eddy Morgan, who resigned as head coach in June.
