February 9, 2023 Piedmont gets win in road opener Piedmont and La Verne earned their first wins of the season. ThLions defeated Cal Lutheran and La Verne bested Linfield. Widener was a Wednesday winner with Rhodes and Hendrix opening with wins on Tuesday.
May 3, 2022 Widener wins MACC play-in game Widener defeated Messiah to advance to face Lebanon Valley, the conference regular season champion, on Saturday. In other Tournament action, Montclair State, Ramapo and William Paterson all earned wins in the opening of the NJAC tournament. Baruch advanced to the CUNYAC championship series.
February 1, 2021 Burdick named interim head coach at Widener Kevin Burdick has been named the Interim Head Baseball Coach for the Widener University baseball team as announced by Director of Athletics, Jack Shafer. Previously the associate head coach and an assistant coach with the Pride, Burdick is in his sixth season with the program overall.

May 8, 2016 Widener is playoff bound Widener captured its third Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Championship with an 8-6 victory over Messiah on Sunday at PeoplesBank Park in York, Pa. The championship is the second title in three years for the Blue and Gold.
