    Washington College split a home doubleheader with the Ursinus Bears on Sunday afternoon at Athey Park. The Shoremen collected 15 hits in the opener en route to a 12-4 victory. The victory was the 100th for Shoreman head coach Cory Beddick in Chestertown.

    Washington College swept host Ursinus in a Centennial doubleheader. The Shoremen held off a bottom of the ninth inning rally by the Bears in game one to prevail 6-4 to give head coach Cory Beddick his 100th career victory.

    The Washington College baseball team completed a perfect 10-0 trip to Florida with a doubleheader sweep of Cairn on Saturday at Lawnwood Complex.  The Shoremen walked-off the Highlanders in game one, 5-4, and held off a rally by Cairn in game two to come away with a 6-4 win.  The Shoremen are now 13-0 overall and have now set a record for consecutive wins during a single-season.

    The Washington College baseball team improved to 8-0 on the season for the first time since 1939 in a 13-2 win over Northwestern (Minn.) on Tuesday evening at the Lakewood Complex as the Shoremen launched four home runs in the win, including three in a four plate appearance span in the top of the fifth inning.

Mikulus (Plainview, N.Y./Chaminade)tossed his first career no-hitter, the 16th in Centennial Conference history and the first nine-inning no-hitter by a WC pitcher in 48 years in a 7-0 victory in game one of a Centennial Conference doubleheader against host Dickinson on Saturday afternoon at MacPhail Field.  The Shoremen completed the sweep of the Red Devils, their first in eight years, with a 13-5 victory in game two as the Shoremen have now won 80 games since 2015, the most in any four-year stretch, breaking the mark of 78 set from 2009-12.

    Junior Nick Roberti pitched the first no-hitter for the Washington College baseball team in six years in the second game of the Shoremen's double-header sweep of Bethany (W.Va.) College today in Fort Pierce, Fla. After the Shoremen held off the Bison, 5-4, in the opener, Roberti tossed his gem in a 13-0 game-two victory.

    Host Washington College broke open a scoreless tie with six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and added four runs each in the last of the seventh and eighth innings on its way to a 14-0 win over visiting New Paltz in a non-conference baseball game on Saturday afternoon at Athey Baseball Park in the season opener for both the Shoremen and the Hawks.

    Visiting Washington College jumped out to a 9-0 lead and held off a furious McDaniel rally to post an 11-7 victory at Preston Field in a Centennial Conference baseball game on Thursday afternoon. The Shoremen improve to 12-4 overall and are 4-0 in the Centennial Conference, while the Green Terror fall to 8-8 and 1-3 respectively. The Shoremen are 4-0 in conference action for the first time since 1998 and for the third time in program history as the 1994 team also started conference action at 4-0.

    Visiting Washington College won its 12th straight baseball game en route to a 13-3 victory over host St. Mary's (MD) at the Hawk's Nest this afternoon in non-conference baseball action. The Shoremen are now 13-1 on the season and off to their best start since 1937 when the team went 14-1, while the Seahawks drop to 12-7 with the setback. The win was WC's biggest in the series versus St. Mary's since a 16-6 victory in 1987.

    The Washington College baseball team continue to make history today, defeating Curry College, 28-1, in seven innings in the Shoremen's final game at the RussMatt Baseball Central Florida Invitational today in Winter Haven. The 28 runs are the most the Shoremen have scored in a single game since a 33-1 win victory over Saint Joseph's (PA) in 1923. Washington improved to 12-1 for the first time since 1938 with its 11th win in a row, matching its longest winning streak since 1937.

    he Washington College baseball team scored eight runs in the top of the ninth inning to rally past Hamilton College, 11-10, this afternoon at the RussMatt Baseball Central Florida Invitational in Winter Haven. The Shoremen improved to 11-1 for the first time since 1940 with the victory and have now won 10 consecutive games for the first time since 1996 and for the fifth time in team history.
