March 16, 2024 Chapman, ECSU, Rowan wins over past champions In the final of a three game set between previous World Series champions, Chapman (2003, 19) salvaged one win of the series with a 10-3 victory over Cortland (2015). Rowan (1978, 79) also won a clash of past champions with Southern Maine (1991, 97). ECSU (1982, 90, 98, 2002, 22) was a 2-1 winner over Marietta (1981, 83, 86,2006, 11, 12)
March 16, 2022 Royals Take ODAC Contest In Walk-Off Fashion The Diamond Royals improved to 2-1 in ODAC play on Wednesday night, taking down the visiting Generals of Washington and Lee in walk-off fashion.

May 17, 2019 EMU promotes Posey to head coach Eastern Mennonite University has announced the hiring of current assistant coach Adam Posey as the new Head Baseball Coach. He has been the lead assistant at EMU under Coach Ben Spotts the past five seasons.
May 16, 2019 Spotts moves crosstown to Bridgewater (Va.) Former Bridgewater player and coach Ben Spotts will return to his alma mater to take the head coaching position with the Eagles' baseball program. He takes over for Curt Kendall who stepped down as the program's head coach at the end of the 2019 season.
May 3, 2019 Top Seeded R-MC Takes Care Of Royals In ODAC Tournament The eighth seeded EMU Diamond Royals were eliminated from the first round of the 2019 ODAC Baseball Tournament after losing both games at top-seeded No. 23 Randolph-Macon.
