April 11, 2021 Virginia Wesleyan takes marathon, then sweeps Ferrum Virginia Wesleyan and Ferrum played into the 16th inning in the longest game of the day. The Marlins scored three in the 16th to end the game, then won in regulation to sweep Ferrum.

February 29, 2020 Cal Lu upsets top ranked Champan Cal Lutheran continued their hot start with a win over top ranked Chapman. In Rocky Mount, Ferrum and Montclair State split a pair. In a late game in Texas, #2 Trinity took care of business with a 10-6 win over #6 Babson
November 1, 2019 Wagner joins College Baseball Hall of Fame This weekend Ferrum's Billy Wagner will be inducted into the National College Baseball Hall of Fame. The seven-time MLB All-Star had a record-setting baseball career at Ferrum from 1991-93 before being drafted into the pros. He is the third D-III player to be inducted.
April 12, 2017 Mount Union continues with hold on OAC lead A sweep of John Carroll added to Mount Union's OAC lead as the Purple raiders came back in both games. In the USA South tournament, the two top seeds, La Grange and Ferrum won their early round games.
June 10, 2016 Bachar is first of 20 players drafted in 2016 MLB draft The San Diego Padres called Lake Bachar's name in the fifth round for the first D-III player taken in 2016 MLB First-Year Player Draft. Nineteen more names were called out with nine position players and eleven pitchers taken overall in the three day event.
