March 6, 2025 Big innings give ODAC teams wins on Thursday Ferrum scored six and eight runs in the the first innings of their doubleheader with Wilson and cruised to a sweep on the day. Roanoke also used a big fifth to down ranked Christopher Newport and Hampden-Sydney just out hit Mary Baldwin in a run ruled win.
January 21, 2025 Ferrum's Wagner elected to Baseball Hall of Fame Former Ferrum College and Major League Baseball standout Billy Wagner has been selected for induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The seven-time MLB All-Star had a record-setting baseball career at Ferrum from 1991-93 before being drafted by the Astros in 1993.
June 28, 2024 Owens to top Ferrum program School officials Adams announced the hiring of Eric Owens as the new head coach at Ferrum College. Owens' plethora of coaching experience at the highest levels of the game includes stops at A, AA, AAA, and in the Major Leagues.
April 11, 2021 Virginia Wesleyan takes marathon, then sweeps Ferrum Virginia Wesleyan and Ferrum played into the 16th inning in the longest game of the day. The Marlins scored three in the 16th to end the game, then won in regulation to sweep Ferrum.

February 29, 2020 Cal Lu upsets top ranked Champan Cal Lutheran continued their hot start with a win over top ranked Chapman. In Rocky Mount, Ferrum and Montclair State split a pair. In a late game in Texas, #2 Trinity took care of business with a 10-6 win over #6 Babson
