• Big innings give ODAC teams wins on Thursday

    Ferrum scored six and eight runs in the the first innings of their doubleheader with Wilson and cruised to a sweep on the day. Roanoke also used a big fifth to down ranked Christopher Newport and Hampden-Sydney just out hit Mary Baldwin in a run ruled win.

    Former Ferrum College and Major League Baseball standout Billy Wagner has been selected for induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The seven-time MLB All-Star had a record-setting baseball career at Ferrum from 1991-93 before being drafted by the Astros in 1993.

    This weekend Ferrum's Billy Wagner will be inducted into the National College Baseball Hall of Fame. The seven-time MLB All-Star had a record-setting baseball career at Ferrum from 1991-93 before being drafted into the pros. He is the third D-III player to be inducted.
