June 18, 2025 Schrier takes the helm at Rhodes Rob Schrier was named the new Rhodes head coach. Schrier moves to the head position after spending the last 21 years on the Rhodes staff, the last 20 as the Associate Head Coach.
June 6, 2025 Jeff Cleanthes Announces Retirement School officials announced the retirement of Jeff Cleanthes, head baseball coach and Assistant Director of Athletics, from Rhodes College. He coached the Lynx program for 22 years.
May 11, 2025 Rain concludes SAA tournament, Rhodes advances After nearly 48 straight hours of rain in central Mississippi, the SAA Baseball Tournament was officially washed out with Rhodes earning the title as the last undefeated team left in the bracket. Teams got through four games before rain saturated the field and it was determined by the SAA office that the tournament could not be concluded.
March 15, 2025 Endicott sends Johns Hopkins to first loss on Saturday In a rematch of last years Super-Regional, Endicott dealt Johns Hokins their first loss of the season. No 7 Trinity (Texas) was a winner over No. 24 Cortland as was No. 19 Babson in their game with No 20 Rhodes.
March 9, 2025 Raptors upset Red Dragons on Sunday Cortland finished a 0-3 weekend as Rutgers Camden upset the red Dragons on Sunday 13-8. In Top 25 contests, No. 3 Johns Hopkins No 14 Pomona Pitzer and No. 23 Case Western were winners. No. 25 Centre finished a sweep of No.13 Rhodes.
February 25, 2025 Tuesday gives Buena Vista a series win Pushed after the weekend, Buena Vista notched a series win over Bethany Lutheran. Rhodes became a ten game winner with a lopsided win over Alma as part of the Tuesday slate of games.
