The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its fifth season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors. This is the sixth Team of the Week of the 2016 season.

C Trenton Ray, Jr., Texas Lutheran
Ray hit .625 for the week (5-for-8) and blasted a pair of home runs, including a solo shot Sunday that started a seven-run, seventh-inning rally against Austin. Ray scored three runs and had two doubles and two homers. He posted a slugging percentage of 1.625 for the week.
1B Miccoy Drzewiecki, Jr., Adrian
Drzewiecki's slashline of .625/.700/1.375 set the tone for Adrian's 2-0 week as the offense scored 27 runs vs. Capital and at Franklin. Against an 8-3 Capital team, he went 1-for-3, including a double, with a run and walk. He capped a brief week with a 4-for-5, 3-run, 3-RBI, 1-walk performance in a 14-3 win against Franklin. He tied his career high in hits and set a personal record with three doubles in the game.
2B Austin Batten, So., Bridgewater (Va.)
Batten was 6-for-10 as the Eagles split a pair of ODAC games during the week. His solo homer to lead off the bottom of the eighth inning snapped a 6-6 tie as the Eagles went on to win 8-6. He was also 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in the loss to Virginia Wesleyan. Batten posted a 1.200 slugging percentage for the two games. He also fielded 18 chances without an error at second base in the two games.
SS Adrian Pena, Jr., CCNY
Pena played a huge role for the Beavers this week as he played and started in all three games. He recorded a .636 batting average (7-for-11) over the three games. He led the Beavers in hits (7), triples (1), home runs (2), RBIs (9), and total bases (15). He was third on the team in runs (4). One of Pena's home-runs was a grand slam in the seventh inning that gave the Beavers the go-ahead run that gave them their first win of the season.
3B Alex Bull, Sr., Moravian
Bull helped the Greyhounds to a 5-0 record last week including a three-game series sweep of Catholic to begin Landmark Conference action. Bull hit safely in all five games with a .533 average while going 8-for-15 from the plate. He added five runs scored, six RBIs, two doubles and a pair of solo home runs in the first two games against Catholic. Bull had a 1.067 slugging percentage for the week, and he also added three walks for a .579 on-base percentage and a sacrifice fly.
OF Dom DeMicco, Jr., Benedictine
DeMicco helped Benedictine to wins in the first three games of the spring trip by logging multi-hit games in each contest, going 6-for-9 (.667) over the week. The junior outfielder finished 2-for-3 with a triple, a run, a walk, and two RBIs in a 12-1 win over No. 5 UW-La Crosse Friday. He scored a pair of runs and doubled twice in a 7-3 victory over Kalamazoo Sunday.
OF Walker Olis, Sr., Pacific (Ore.)
Olis hit .636 over the weekend (7-for-11), with three extra base hits, a double and two home runs. He drove in five runs and scored nine runs. Walker drew four walks and only struck out once, posting a .733 on-base percentage and 1.273 slugging percentage. Olis also stole three bases.
OF Jeremy Wolf, Sr., Trinity (Tex.)
Wolf led the second-ranked Tiger baseball team to a 4-0 record last week. Wolf hit .545 (6-for-11) overall last week. He finished with five extra-base hits in the four games, cracking four doubles and a home run for a 1.182 slugging percentage. Wolf added seven runs and five RBI. In addition to his average, Wolf also drew six walks for an on-base percentage of .706 for the week.
DH Dylan Wright, So., Pacific (Ore.)
Wright helped lead the Pacific offense in a three-game road sweep at Linfield. Wright was nearly perfect at the dish with a .875 batting average (7-for-8) in two starts (two at-bats off the bench in game three). He notched three doubles and drove in six runs, while also scoring five himself. Wright posted a slugging percentage of 1.250 and an on-base percentage of .917, aided by four walks on the weekend.
SP Christian Herstine, Sr., Marietta
Herstine struck out a career-high 14 in a one-hit shutout of Case Western Reserve in a game played at La Roche . Herstine allowed just four base runners (1 hit, 2 walks and 1 infield error). He had streaks of 9 straight and 14 straight batters retired in the game. In addition to his strong pitching, he also put on a fielding clinic with 6 assists in the game.
SP Billy Jackson, Sr., Rutgers-Camden
Jackson went 2-0 with a 1.93 ERA while beating two of the top teams in the country: No. 2 Wisconsin-La Crosse and No. 13 Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Worked a total of 14 IP, allowing 14 hits, 3 earned runs, 0 BB and 18 K. Jackson beat Wisconsin-La Crosse, 16-4, working seven shutout innings before allowing three earned runs to start the eighth. Blanked No. 10/13 Stevens Point, 10-0, in a seven-inning first game of a doubleheader.
SP Ryan Newman, So., Milwaukee Engineering
Newman earned his first win of the season with a 5-0 shutout of Finlandia on Sunday. He allowed three hits and a walk in the nine inning complete game performance. He struck out eight Lions.
SP Joe Palasiewicz, Jr., Benedictine
Palasiewicz tossed a complete game shutout over Ripon in the opener of Benedictine's spring trip. He did not allow a hit until the seventh inning and finished by surrendering just a pair of hits with a walk and six strikeouts.
RP Simon Rosenbaum, Sr., Pomona-Pitzer
In a doubleheader sweep of La Verne, Rosenbaum earned a save in a 3-2 win game one and a win in game two with 2.1 innings of hitless, scoreless relief in an 8-7, 11 inning victory. Rosenbaum started both games at third base and was 3-for-6 with three RBIs and two stolen bases in game two.
