In a battle of nationally ranked opponents, No. 21 Wooster out slugged No. 15 Marietta by the score of 13-12 Satuday at the Snowbird Classic. The Fighting Scots improve to 3-3 on the season, while Marietta drops to 9-2 overall. Throough the first five inning, the game was dominated by the Scots who built a 8-1 margin. The Pioneers put six on the board on the sixth but Wooster responded with five in the top of the seventh and outlasted a Marietta rally that fell a run short.

No. 12 Rhodes played a tightly contested matchup against the SUNY Oneonta Red Dragons. The Lynx held the lead for most of the game, but the Red Dragons made a late comeback effort. Rhodes halted the comeback and downed Oneonta 5-4. This victory is the senior class' 100th victory in a Rhodes College uniform.Senior Trey Sledge improved his win total to three as he tossed an impressive 5.1 innings, while allowing only two hits, one run, and striking out six batters. Senior Jacob Dubs recorded his second save of the season, and week, as he tossed 3.2 innings and struck out six. Seven of the nine starters for the Lynx were able to record a base hit in the contest. John McNair led the way with two.

Washington College completed their nine-game spring beak trip in Florida with a 12-4 triumph against Franciscan (3-8) on Saturday morning. The Shoremen went 8-1 in the Sunshine State and have now won seven straight games to improve to 11-4. Washington produced a season-high eight doubles in the contest. Reliever Ethan Osgood picked up his second win of the season in relief as he allowed just a run and two hits over 4.0 innings while fanning a pair. Washington went 8-for-19 with runners in scoring position in the contest.

The Rockford University baseball team (9-3) scored seven runs during its final two innings at the plate and sent its seniors off with a 7-3 victory over Carroll University (4-7) in the last game of the season. Offensively, Rockford tallied 11 hits on Saturday, marking the seventh time in twelve games that the Regents have recorded at least 11 hits in a game. Individually, the Regents had four players, Hunter Fiorito, Corey Saracco, Dylan Johnson and Christian Garcia, record multi-hit performances on Saturday. In total, seven different Regents had a hit in the game. On the mound, Rockford got outstanding performances from all three pitchers. Starter Joseph Kmiec gave Rockford six solid innings, and Kent Evans Jr. and Zack Jones were both impressive in relief.

Marymount played McDaniel in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy, sweeping the Green Terror in 7-3 and 3-2 wins. In the first game of the day, the Saints' bats came alive, totaling 10 hits and scoring at least a run in all innings but one. In the second game, it was McDaniel to grab the game's first run, with a solo home run in the first inning, but the game would settle into a pitcher's dual, with neither team scoring more than one run in any single inning. The Saints up for their final at bat had Bryan Wojcik walk to lead off and stole second. He then moved to third on a single by junior Jake Mellor. Wojcik scored the winning run on a wild pitch to complete the sweep.

Wheaton (Ill.) defeated Mayville State 16-4 on Saturday morning in Arizona. The contest was the last game of Wheaton's Spring Break trip and also the season finale as a result of Friday's announcement that CCIW sports and Wheaton Athletics are canceled for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. Wheaton concludes the season with 6-1 record. Wheaton scored 15 runs, on 23 hits, with one error. Mayville State tallied four runs, on nine hits, with one error.Noah RitchieSenior Christian Bolhuis (2-0) earned the victory on the mound. Bolhuis threw five innings of scoreless baseball, scattering four hits. He struck out five batters and did not allow a walk. Fellow senior Alex Hanvey pitched one inning of relief, allowing one run, on two hits. Senior Jacob Cassel allowed three runs, on two hits with one walk in relief. Christian Gibbs, a senior, pitched 2/3 of an inning, with no runs allowed and he gave up one hit.Noah Ritchie was 3-for-5 at the plate for the Thunder, hitting a triple. He scored twice and drove in two runs.

due to less than ideal weather conditions. With the win,
Denison suspends its 2020 season with a record of 5-4.

On the baseball diamond, sophomore right-hander Bryant Bagshaw went the distance, recovering from a three-run first with eight shutout innings while striking out 11 along the way. Bagshaw surrendered just six hits all game, only three coming after the first inning. With the win, Bagshaw improved to 1-2 for the season. At the plate, senior Frankie Sessa paced the Stars with a three-hit, three-RBI performance while batting in the leadoff spot for the first and only time in his career. Sessa's run-scoring triple in the top of the second evened the game at 3-3. The Las Vegas native then gave the Stars their first lead of the day with a single to right in the sixth. Sessa then capped a four-run seventh inning for Dominican with a two-out RBI single through the left side of the infield. Brandon Diedrich also finished the game with three hits, going 3-for-5 with a double, while Ryan Simak, Johnny Condron and Thomas Ross logged two hits apiece. Simak drove in a pair of runs while Ross went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Beloit won its eighth consecutive game with a 7-3 victory over Penn State-Abington to wrap up play in the RussMatt Invitational in Auburndale, Florida. The Buccaneer offense continued to fire on all cylinders while the defense stymied PSA. Beloit registered 14 hits in the game while stranding 12 Abington runners on base in the contest. Bronson Balholm was fanastic at the plate going 3-4 with a run scored and four RBI in the game. Four more Bucs registered multiple hits in the contest. Jacob Silgar picked up the win on the mound to improve to 2-0 on the season. He scattered nine hits while striking out three, walking one and allowing a single earned run in 5.1 innings of work.

After finding out less than 24 hours before that the 2020 season would be finishing today, Concordia Chicago took to the field one final time today against Clarkson. The Cougars were able to honor their six seniors in their final game of their careers today. Noah Dressler, Mateo Calle, Alex Crinigan, Adam Gregory, Matt Fauth and Kyle Strepek all played in the game today, and the Cougars were able to come from behind to win by a final score of 7-6.

Anna Maria ended their season on a high note this afternoon after taking down WPI in both games to complete the sweep. The AMCATs won 3-0 and 19-7. The AMCATS got the shutout victory after they were able to push across one run three innings in a row against the Engineers. AMCATS ace Jack Marzec shut down a good WPI offense after throwing a complete game with just three hits allowed and tallied nine punch outs. In the nightcap, Anna Maria scored a huge nine run inning in the fourth after the Engineers defense fell apart, causing all nine runs to be unearned. The AMCATS added on another six runs in the sixth with just one of those coming as earned after seven total errors in the field for the Engineers.

Juniata closed their trip to Florida with a 3-1 victory over Keene State. Jack Dovidio got the win for JC as he went five innings, allowing six hits, one run and struck out six. Juniata now sits at 7-3, 7-1 in Florida, the best start and best record on spring break trip since the 2006 season. The team now awaits to see if there will be more games to be played.

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Caltech had one final scheduled game before the suspension of spring sports, including a chance for both teams to honor their senior classes pregame, and the Stags were able to come away with an 11-8 win on Saturday to end the 2020 season on a winning note. CMS and Caltech had arranged for a doubleheader this weekend to replace games which were canceled when visiting teams elected not to travel west for Spring Break, but reduced it to a single game after the announcement that spring sports would be suspended on March 15. The Stags end their abbreviated season with a 7-7 record after starting all five of their senior position players, including outfielders Henri Levenson, Kevin Nakahara, and Andrew Shults, shortstop Zach Clarke and catcher Truman Miller. Senior right-hander Justin Hull threw seven innings to get a win in his final collegiate appearance. Senior Konnor Kwok then came on in relief in the eighth and senior Cameron Cash closed out the game in the ninth, while seniors Nate Tolles and Brandon Louie earned pinch-hitting opportunities in the ninth inning.

Senior Kyle Bouchard belted three doubles and drove in two runs as Nichols defeated Clarkson 9-6 in their first ever meeting at Lake Myrtle Park in Auburndale, Florida. Today's game marked the first game of the Spring Trip for the Bison. Bouchard reached base in all six appearances, going 3-for-3 at the dish, while also working three walks.

Skidmore closed out its abbreviated season with a 7-6 win over Lakeland in Florida.The Thoroughbreds finish 6-4, while the Muskies are 2-6. Down 6-1, the Thoroughbreds rallied with three in the sixth, one in the seventh, and one in the eighth. Sam Browning was 2-5 with a pair of RBI doubles, including the eventual winning RBI in the eighth. "I couldn't be prouder of this team for the way they handled themselves through a difficult situation," said Skidmore coach Ron Plourde. "Thank you to our seniors for representing the program in the best way possible!"

Webster tallied double-digit runs for the fourth consecutive game and also won its second straight game in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational as the No. 20 ranked Gorloks rallied for an 11-6 win over the UW-La Crosse at the Lake Myrtle Complex. With the win, Webster improves its record to 7-5 on the season and is now 4-2 on its seven game spring break trip to Florida with one game remaining tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. ET against Keene State. The Eagles fall to 1-4-1 on the season. In Saturday's game, the Gorloks offense recorded double digits in both runs and hits in the fourth consecutive game as Webster scored 11 runs on 14 hits, including three hits apiece from junior All-American third baseman Ben Swords and freshman leftfielder Landon Vahle.

Benedictine ended the season with a fourth consecutive win, striking out 18 batters to best Wentworth Tech, 9-2 in Florida. Stephen Sewruk started and struck out seven in three innings, allowing just three hits to earn his first win of the year in his second start. Benedictine finished with 15 hits in the win, totaling five extra-base hits with four stolen bases. Jack Surin finished 4-for-5 with two RBIs while Kyle Mitter notched three hits, three runs and three RBIs from the leadoff slot.

On the final day of the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic, Haverford (7-5) scored 11 runs over the final three innings to take down Plymouth State (7-5) by an 11-8 final score. The Fords posted five-run frames in both the seventh and eighth innings, withstanding a Panthers surge in the eighth to come away victorious. Plymouth State benefited from one of the rarest plays in baseball in the bottom of the inning, as Jimmy Zimokla followed a Max Lamora RBI double with an inside-the-park grand slam, as the leadoff hitter for the Cougars completed a sprint around the bases to trim the Haverford lead to just 11-8. Thomas Primosch came in to settle down the situation in the eighth, grabbing a pair of quick outs. Primosch also started the ninth before Brandon Jenkins was summoned to get the final out of the contest. Jenkins struck out Aaron Robertson to seal his second save of the season. The Fords offense scored a whopping 88 runs on the spring break trip, outscoring opponents 88-34 while notching a 6-3 record, hitting .391, and slugging .590. The pitching racked up 66 strikeouts in just 68 innings.
