In a battle of the top two teams in the conference #2 Lewis & Clark fell 9-3 to #1 Pacific in the double-elimination Northwest Conference Tournament Saturday afternoon for their first loss of the tournament and first in seven games. The Pioneers fell behind early to the Boxers, going down 7-0 after two, but held Pacific to only 2 runs the rest of the way. Down to their last out, senior Dylan Moore stepped to the plate and hit a two-run shot over the left field fence, but it wasn't enough to secure the comeback. Lewis and Clark will play Pacific after a 6-5 win over Whitman. The Pioneers will have to win twice to earn the NWC atuo-bid to the NCAA Playoffs.

Jimmy Meredith delivered seven of Maryville's 11 runs on the day, as Maryville slugged their way to an 11-8 victory over No. 13 LaGrange here on Saturday. Meredith drove in a team-high four runs in the contest while also scoring three of his own. The senior went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a walk. He did so while starting at shortstop for the first time this season. Both teams put together strong performances on the offensive side of the ball. Maryville picked up 13 hits while batting .361 (13-for-36) as a squad. LaGrange racked up 16 hits in 43 at-bats, good for a batting average of .372. Kyle Timko earned the win in the contest, pitching five innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on eight hits while striking out four batters. Chris Arbuthnot recorded his first save of the season, pitching 1 2/3, allowing one run on three hits. He becomes the fifth Maryville pitcher to record a save this season.

Another North Coast Athletic Conference bullpen was punished by The College of Wooster, which battered DePauw University's relief crew for 16 runs in five innings during Saturday's sweep. Wooster tagged DePauw for six runs in the eighth inning to turn a 3-3 tie into a 9-3 game-one win, then the Tigers surrendered 10 runs over the final three innings of the nightcap, won by the Fighting Scots 11-7. It was close in the opener until first-year centerfielder John Panstares' grand slam in the eighth. Wooster played from ahead in the nightcap with more late game runs to complete the sweep.

Sage wrapped their three-game Empire 8 series with Keuka as they took a 5-4 win in the first contest and added a 4-1 victory in the night cap. RSC is now 15-18 overall and 8-7 in the Empire 8, while Keuka is 6-19 overall and 2-10 in the conference. A year ago the Gators were 14-27-1 in their inaugural campaign under rookie head coach Nick Pontari. After Saturday's pair of wins, the 2023 Gators have surpassed that overall win total as they now have 15 with six regular-season games to be played. Left handed Matthew Denatale threw six innings for the Gators in game one, allowing just two earned runs off of the four hits he gave up. He struck out six, walked four and earned the win to move to 3-2. In game two, sophomore Ricky Parks fanned six and held Keuka scoreless in his time on the mound. He allowed just six hits and improves to 3-2. Graduate pitcher Cameron Anderson threw two innings for RSC allowing one earned run off of four hits with a pair of strikeouts. Senior Will Simkin closed the game for the Gators, collecting the save as he allowed just one hit and struck out one as well.

SUNY Brockport earned a, 13-3, win today over Cortland in the final game of the SUNYAC series, improving to 22-10 overall and 12-3 in conference play. This is the first 3-game series victory for Brockport against Cortland since 2017. Colin Pytlak is now 4-3 overall this season after earning his win today on the mound. Pytlak pitched five innings just letting up one run, two hits and three walks. He struck out five batters across 17 at bats.

Beloit stepped outside conference play Saturday afternoon, splitting a doubleheader at former Midwest Conference foe Carroll's Frame Park. The Buccaneers lost the first game 11-7, before winning game two by a score of 13-3 in eight innings to earn the split. The day's first game was a pitcher's duel but ended as a slugfest. Carroll's big blow came in the seventh in the form of a three-run homer to right field. The day's second game was all Bucs, as they got out to an early lead.

No. 8 nationally-ranked defending national champion Eastern Connecticut State University rallied for three runs over its final three at-bats in the second game but left the tying run at second base in the ninth inning and was swept by Rhode Island College, 7-6, 6-5, Saturday afternoon at Pontarelli Field. In the first game, Rhode Island (22-11, 9-1 LEC) scored three runs in its final two at-bats, winning with two out in the bottom of the ninth on No. 2 hitter Daniel Trzep's single that drove in leadoff hitter Cameron Santerre, who had doubled with two out. Pinch hitter Daniel Casci's solo home run leading off the ninth had tied the game. Rhode Island has won ten of its last 11 after breaking Eastern's six-game winning streak.The sweep was Rhode Island's first over Eastern (25-7, 9-3 LEC) since 2015, when the Anchormen posted 10-2, 16-7 wins at Pontarelli Field.

Elizabethtown opened up their Landmark Conference three-game series vs. No.10 Catholic in an impressive showing as the Blue Jays shutout the Cardinals, 10-0. In the Landmark Conference of undefeated teams, Elizabethtown now moves to 24-7 and 12-0 in the Landmark while Catholic falls to 23-5 and 11-1 in the Landmark. Nicholas Ortega remains undefeated on the mound, earning his sixth win while striking out five through seven innings. Catholic pitcher, Tucker Alch picked up his first loss of the season on the mound as he moves to 6-1.

Dickinson got five RBIs thanks to a pair of home runs from Nathan Bowman to help overcome an early deficit in game one on Saturday against Ursinus en route to picking up a 12-7 win. Then, in game two the Red and White held a 4-0 lead before inclement weather forced the suspension of action at MacPhail Field. Joey Sangiuolo was outstanding over the next three innings putting away the visitors "nine up, nine-down". As he was continuing his strong outing the home side added one more with a single by Nathan Bowman and a two-bagger for Andrew Mazzone giving the Devils a seven-run cushion (12-5). However, the visitors did not go quietly as two singles and a double let two men come home, before Andrew Richter flew out to end the game. Game two was suspended after inclement weather came through the Carlisle area in the fourth inning.

No. 21 nationally ranked UW-Oshkosh won both of their games over UW-Platteville in seven innings on Saturday at Tiedemann Field in Oshkosh with scores of 11-0 and 14-2. Saturday was also Senior Day, and 14 members of the team were recognized. Matt Scherrman led the Titans in the game, going three-for-three with five RBI and a run scored. Brinkman (7-0) earned the win with 7.0 innings pitched for his second complete game of the season. The nightcap was the same story, lots of early scoring and lights out pitching. Nicholas Shiu paced Oshkosh in game two, going two-for-three with a walk, recording two RBI and three runs scored. Connor Walters (1-0) earned his first win of the season, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and one walk. He also struck out two.

Kean split with the College of New Jersey in NJAC action on Saturday winning the opener, 11-5 and falling in the nightcap, 7-0. The Cougars took their first lead of the day in the opener in the bottom of the seventh as Phil Marcantonio doubled with two outs and Gianni Marano switched places with him with a double of his own. The Lions tied things right back up in the top of the eighth as Chris Reeder led off with a double and Andrew Fernandez followed with a single to put both in scoring position with no outs. Sebastian JnoBaptiste lofted a one out sac fly to knot the game at five-all. Kean then blew the game open in the bottom of the eighth and retired the side in the ninth to earn the win. TCNJ put game two out of reach with four runs in the seventh all with two outs.

UW-La Crosse earned a doubleheader sweep of UW-Whitewater Saturday afternoon at Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium. UWL won game one 6-4 and game two 8-2. The Eagles are now 20-6 overall and 11-3 in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action while the Warhawks are 17-9 on the year and 7-7 in conference play. Isaiah Katz (3-0) retired 15 of the final 17 batters he faced to close the door and earn the complete game win on the mound for the Eagles. Katz allowed four runs (all earned) on 11 hits and three walks while striking out four in the win. Cade Berendt (3-2) suffered the loss on the mound for the Warhawks as he allowed five runs (all earned) on nine hits while striking out two. Starting pitcher Owen Anderson would retire six of the final seven batters he faced to seal the complete game win. Anderson (3-3) gave up just three hits while allowing two runs and three walks while striking out three. Logan Eisenbarth (1-2) earned the loss for the Warhawks as he allowed six runs (two earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out two in 3.2 innings of work.

First baseman Logan Brewer stole the show on Saturday, hitting two home runs and driving in five runs during Lebanon Valley's doubleheader split with York (Pa.). The Dutchmen took the first game 2-1 and dropped the second contest 6-4, which was called after five innings because of inclement weather in the area. The Flying Dutchmen (20-14-1, 16-4 MAC Commonwealth) notched their 20th victory of the season behind a long ball from the first baseman and dominant pitching. Brewer's sixth home run of the year put a pair of runs on the scoreboard early, which proved to be enough for the win. The lead provided by the first baseman's long ball was preserved by Shane Stossel's stellar start on the mound, in which he blanked the Spartans (17-16, 12-8 MAC Commonwealth) over the first five innings of the game. Lebanon Valley (20-15-1, 16-5 MAC Commonwealth) put together more quality at-bats in the second game, being led by Brewer with another home run and three RBIs. LVC ultimately fell to York (18-16, 13-8 MAC Commonwealth) in the second game, as the opposition claimed the lead early and remained ahead because of timely hitting.

The Aurora Spartans headed north to the frozen tundra of Wisconsin to take on the Warriors of Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday. The Spartans swept the day wnning 13-3 (8 innings) and 8-4. AU fell behind 1-0 in game one but responded immediately with a six run third on five hits including a run scoring double from Jacob Ambuel, a double from Justin Sartori and a two-run single from Brenden Naylor. Aurora failed to cash in on early opportunities, giving the Warriors life in an upset bid in game two. The Spartan offense was too strong and doubled up WLC in the nightcap.

Senior Henry Jamieson racked up five hits and five RBI to lead Bates to a doubleheader sweep, 8-5 and 6-5, of Skidmore Saturday afternoon at Leahey Field. Junior Luke Linnehan allowed just three runs in six and two thirds innings pitched to lead the Bobcats to an 8-5 win over Skidmore in game one of Saturday's doubleheader. The Bobcats scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to rally for a 6-5 walk-off win over Skidmore in game two of Saturday's doubleheader.

Emory University captured its second straight University Athletic Association championship on Saturday, sweeping a doubleheader over the Bears of WashU on senior day. Needing just one win following the Eagles' walk-off win in the opener on Friday, the Emory offense left no doubt in the first game of the afternoon, scoring 13 runs across the first four innings en route to the 14-9 win to clinch the championship. The conference title is the 15th in program history for the Eagles and the first outright championship since 2012. The 15 titles are the most in UAA baseball history.

Zack Beekmann broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run home run in the fourth inning before Buena Vista added seven runs in the eighth inning, and that was more than enough for Morgan Smith who tossed a complete-game five-hitter as BVU captured a 10-1 series-opening vicotry over Luther College on Saturday afternoon. On a crisp and chilly afternoon both starting pitchers engaged in a pitching duel until the final inning. Smith gained an early advantage with BVU scoring on a defensive miscue from Luther in the second. Luther would strike back scoring on a sacrifice fly in the fourth, but the momentum would not last long as Beekmann launched a two-run shot in the bottom half of the inning to regain the advantage for the Beavers. Smith made good use of the support, holding the score at 3-1 into the eighth. The Beavers lineup went to the plate in the bottom half of the frame looking to provide him with more of a cushion.

After an offensive explosion in game one, Dave Fitzpatrick delivered a walk-off single in game two to complete the sweep on Elmhurst University 16-7, 3-2, on Saturday at Zimmerman Stadium. Thirteen Cardinals tallied at least one hit in North Central's 21-hit performance in game one. Ryan Behling earned the win with six strikeouts over his five innings of work. Game two saw a pitcher's duel between Luke Lamm and Cole Bozzi as neither team scored in the first seven innings of action. In the game two walkoff, Cole Gregorio singled in the ninth. Lehnen moved over AJ Kutcher, who pinch ran for Gregorio on a ground out to third. Fitzpatrick delivered a game-winning RBI single to center field as Kutcher crossed home plate to give the Cardinals a 3-2 win.

Cal Lutheran clinched a spot in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Tournament as they split a doubleheader with Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday afternoon. The Kingsmen won the first game, 4-3, while the Sagehens took the second, 6-4. Luke Wechsler started the game and pitched 6.2 innings. He allowed just five hits and one earned run, with four strikeouts. Cal Lutheran made their final move in the bottom of the eighth. Josh Quinn reached on a fielder's choice as Zach Ritter scored to tie the game. Sean Blandino's hit scored the winning run as an error allowed Quinn to race home. In game tow, the Sagehens pulled into an early lead, going up 4-0 by the top of the fourth inning. The Kingsmen finally found an opening and managed a run in the fourth, fifth, sixth, and eighth innings but it was not enough.

No. 20 Misericordia moved into first place in the MAC Freedom with a sweep of FDU-Florham, Saturday at Tambur Field. The Cougars won 12-2, 6-0 to extend their winning streak to seven games and improve to 30-6 overall and 18-3 in the MAC Freedom. Derrick Vosburg had three hits and three RBI in the opener and Brendan Gray drove in three runs. Vosburg had two hits and two RBI in the nightcap and Jason Sanfilippo had three hits. Brady Madden, Garrett McIlhenney and Brock Bollinger all had two hits. Tyler Leonard struck out seven and allowed just one hit over six innings to get the win in the opener. Steve Rinda struck out eight and allowed just three hits to earn the shutout win in game two.

Penn State Abington defeated Gallaudet by the score of 8-1 in game one of a scheduled United East Conference doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Hoy Field. Mother Nature came away with a win versus both teams in game two as the night cap was washed out with Abington leading 6-3 after four innings. Since the game wasn't completed, Abington and Gallaudet will replay the entire game on Sunday. Leading 2-0 entering the fifth inning, Abington put the game out of reach with a six-run frame. Five different players drove in runs in the inning, including senior Josh Baar who recorded a two-run triple. Junior Eric Rollins also had an extra base hit in the inning as he drove in a run with a double.

Case Western Reserve completed a sweep of its four-game series with Brandeis by winning both games of a doubleheader on Saturday at Stein Diamond in Waltham, Massachusetts. CWRU claimed a 10-0 win in seven innings in the first game, before coming from behind in its final at bat for a 15-12 win against the Judges in the second contest. CWRU has now won eight straight games and 12 of its last 13 to improve to 22-12 overall for the campaign with an 11-5 University Athletic Association record. Brandeis dropped to 5-27 with the loss, including a 1-15 UAA mark. With conference play now complete, the Spartans also secured a second-place finish in the final UAA standings with Saturday's wins.

Tufts upped its win streak to 10 games on Saturday, taking both ends of a New England Small College Athletic Conference doubleheader with host Trinity (Conn.) with scores of 7-5 and 5-1. The Jumbos are now 9-0 in the NESCAC East Division, leading Colby College by three games in the standings with a three-game set with the Camels set for next weekend up in Waterville, ME. The Jumbos win streak of 10 is the longest since a 10-game win streak to start the 2021 season, and the longest since an 11-game win streak back in 2013. Tufts rallied from down 5-0 late in the contest to Trinity, scoring seven runs in the final three innings including two runs in the top of the seventh for the come from behind victory. Fleckner blasted his second homer of the season in the top of the third, a solo shot over the left field wall to give the Jumbos the lead for good in a 5-1 lead.

Webster was back in action this afternoon when they played host to the Fontbonne Griffins for the first two games of a three game SLIAC series. The Gorloks swept the doubleheader as they won the first game by a final score of 9-4 and the second game by a final score of 6-5 to improve to 19-12 on the season and 11-3 in SLIAC play. With the split, Fontbonne moved to 22-11 on the season and 10-4 in conference play. Alek Elges was the starting pitcher in game one as he allowed six hits and four earned runs while striking out five in 3.1 innings. Joel Arsenault (5-1) pitched in relief as he allowed just one hit while striking out four in 5.2 scoreless innings. Webster recorded 13 hits in the contest. Charlie Burton led the way at the plate as he went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Webster got off to another great start in their second game of the day as they rallied for two runs in the top of the first to take an early lead. The Griffins would cut the lead to 3-2 in the top of the sixth, but three runs in the bottom of the sixth would extend the Gorloks lead to 6-2 late in the game. Fontbonne would score three runs over the next two innings, but Ben Kowalski would shut down the Griffins in the ninth to solidify his second save of the season.

Picking up the first conference win of the season while improving to 29-7 overall, nationally-ranked Christopher Newport secured an 11-2 Senior Day win at Captains Park. Thanks to a decision to move first pitch up an hour, expected rain never arrived as the Captains were able to cruise to the home victory on a sunny Saturday afternoon over the Eagles, who fall to 26-11, 0-2 this year. A first inning three-run missile over the left field fence by senior Justin Bowers proved to be enough on Saturday afternoon as the Captains leaned on another outstanding start by Dylan Weber. With his team-leading seventh home run of the season, Bowers moved into a tie with Connor Madden for the eighth most in program history with 21 career round-trippers. Also moving up the all-time charts, Weber improved to 6-2 on the season and joined the top-ten in CNU program history with 16 career victories. He matches Sean Chitsaz (2009-11) and Tab Pabst (1990-91) for tenth all-time.

Hardin-Simmons swept a doubleheader from LeTourneau and completed the three-game American Southwest Conference series sweep, winning 4-3 and 15-7 on Saturday on Senior Day at Hunter Field. The Cowboys dedicated the new Hunter Family/Powell Family Indoor Facility prior to the doubleheader and celebrated its three seniors – Jeremy Colon, Colby Seltzer and Jaydon Stephens - in between games. The wins also pushed the Cowboys into fourth place in the ASC standings. in game one, Sam Buchkowski had the game winning RBI as he lofted a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning to give HSU a 4-2 lead. In the second game, HSU pounded out 18 hits in the game. Luke Kirkbride led the way with five of the hits and Jeremy Colon and Buchkowski had three hits each.

Nichols split a Commonwealth Coast Conference doubleheader with No. 6 Endicott on Saturday, winning 5-4 in the opener and dropping the nightcap 16-0. Down to their final out in the ninth of game one, Johnny Knox kept Nichols alive with a base knock to center field. Jim Marasco stepped up to the plate, watching a first-pitch slider go by before crushing a fastball to left-center, clearing the fence, and sending the Bison into a frenzy. The walk off homer was Marasco's sixth big fly of the campaign, but none bigger than this one to hand the Gulls their first CCC loss of the year. The Gulls got on the board in the second inning, adding two runs on three hits and two errors. The bats came alive for Endicott the rest of the way, as they scored one in the third, one in the fourth, two in the fifth, seven in the sixth, and three in the seventh to come away with the win in seven innings.

Owen Radcliffe pitched a three-hit shutout in game two, as WPI worked a split against NEWMAC rival Coast Guard on Saturday afternoon at Clark's Granger Field. The Bears (13-14, 6-6 NEWMAC) took game one, 6-4, before the Engineers (14-18, 3-9 NEWMAC) rebounded with a 5-0 win in game two. Radcliffe threw eight scoreless innings in game two, allowing three hits with four strikeouts to even his record to 3-3. Noah Pins came on in relief and threw one scoreless, hitless inning. At the plate for WPI, Kyle Johns finished the day with four total hits, while Jeffrey Brennan and Tommy Burns each added three. Jack Zawacki drove in a pair of runs for the Engineers. For Coast Guard, John Thigpen got the win in game one, throwing six innings, allowing two runs on four hits with seven K's to move to 2-2. Raymond Priddy got the save, his fourth of the year, going three innings, allowing two runs on two hits with three strikeouts. At the plate, Parker Madden had three hits in game one with a pair of RBI, while Blake Carroll had two hits and scored two runs.

Cairn completed the series sweep against Colonial States Athletic Conference foe Clarks Summit in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, claiming game one by a score of 15-3 before besting the Defenders, 24-4, in the nightcap. Cairn was led offensively in game one by Meisel with four hits and three RBIs. Sophomore Joe Battaglia earned his second-straight win on the mound, going six strong, allowing six hits, three runs and striking out three, while freshman Evan Hughes closed out the game with a scoreless inning in relief. The second game played much like the first.

Senior shortstop Cavan Brady knocked in three runs and senior starting pitcher Zach Clesas allowed just two runs over seven innings to lead the No. 15 Wheaton (Mass.) over visiting Emerson, 6-2, this afternoon in the first game of a New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference doubleheader at Sidell Stadium on the Wheaton campus in Norton, Mass. Wheaton made the most of its six hits, scoring six times in the game. The home team scored four runs in the first two innings, including three in the second to take a 4-0 lead, before Emerson got on the board with a run in the top of the third. The Lions made it a two-run game with a run in the fifth, before the Lyons added two insurance runs in the bottom of the seventh to take a 6-2 margin.

Montclair State swept a New Jersey Athletic Conference
twin-bill against Stockton University Saturday afternoon. 
The Red Hawks (21-9, 8-6 NJAC) topped the Ospreys 12-8
and 14-11 in winning their four consecutive games.

Keystone moved into sole possession of first place in the CSAC standings by virtue of Saturday's doubleheader sweep of visiting Wilson College. The Giants (19-11, 11-1 CSAC) won game one, 7-5, before taking game two, 6-2 in six innings due to rain. Wilson moves to 24-8 (9-3 CSAC). The Giants plated five runs in the third and held off a late Phoenix rally to win the opener. In a rain shortened game Keystone scored three runs in the sixth before the game was called.

Junior Joey Trout delivered a three-run homer in the top of the seventh inning to move Lycoming into a tie for the fifth and final MAC Freedom Championship slot with three games remaining in the conference schedule, as Lycoming won game one of a doubleheader with third-place Stevens Institute of Technology, 5-4, before falling 7-1 in the second game at Dobbelaar Field on Saturday. The Warriors (11-21 overall, 8-13 MAC Freedom) are tied with Wilkes for the fifth and final playoff spot with three games remaining in each of the team's conference seasons. The Warriors have single nine-inning games against Stevens, Delaware Valley and Arcadia and Wilkes has a three-game set with last-place FDU-Florham. Wilkes does hold the tiebreaker over the Warriors, having won two of the three games during the teams' series.

Phil Sedalis' walk-off single keyed #18 Rowan's sweep of Rutgers-Newark on Senior Day, giving the Profs an 11-10 come-from-behind win in the first game, while they earned a 12-6 win in the second game that was shortened due to lightning. Rowan improves to 24-10 (10-4 NJAC). Reliever Ryan Iovine kept Rutgers-Newark off the board in the ninth and Karson Harcourt led off the bottom of the inning with a walk. Marco Mannino sent him to second with a sacrifice bunt and he advanced to third on a ground out by Cannon. Sedalis then laced a single to center field to bring home Harcourt with the game winner. Rowan again came back from an deficit, trailing 3-0 in the first inning and taking a 4-3 lead in the third, as Defeciani hit a solo home run in the second and Murphy blasted a two-run shot in the third. Jake Reese (2-3) earned the win, relieving starter Sean Colbert and Christian Bascunan shut down the Scarlet Raiders in 1.2 innings.

Sophomore Nick Cullinan and junior A.T. DiPina each had four hits as Wentworth split a Commonwealth Coast Conference doubleheader against Suffolk. The Leopards took game one, 14-4, before the Rams won, 7-2, in the nightcap. An explosive fifth frame by Wentworth forced Suffolk in a hole it could not climb out of as the Rams fell to the Leopards, 14-4, in seven innings. Suffolk bounced back from a double-digit setback as the Rams took down the Leopards, 7-2, in the closer Saturday afternoon at Libbey Field.

Centenary claimed the series win over the Southwestern University Pirates on Saturday with a convincing doubleheader sweep in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action by scores of 6-0 in game one and 10-0 in seven innings in game two at The Rockwell Family Baseball Field. Centenary finished with 13 hits, drew six walks, had four extra-base hits, and a home run. Senior RHP Parker Primeaux tossed a complete-game shutout and limited the Pirates to just three hits in his nine innings of masterful work. The shutout is Primeaux's second of the season and the CG was his first and third of his career. Freshman RHP Aidan Reichek started on the mound for Centenary and nearly threw his second no-hitter of the season. He held the Pirates hitless for 6.2 innings until SS Alexander Cannata doubled with two outs in the seventh. DH Preston Witt followed with a single but Hewitt nailed Cannata at the plate to end the game and keep the shutout intact.

William Paterson (20-13, 8-6 NJAC) dropped the first game of a road New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader before earning the series split with a win in game two against Rutgers-Camden (21-14, 7-7 NJAC). The Scarlet Raptors took game one, 16-4, but the Pioneers offense erupted for a 21-13 bounce-back victory in game two. the opener remained tied until Rutgers-Camden plated five runs on five hits in the fifth inning while taking advantage of a pair of William Paterson errors in the field to grab an 8-3 advantage. The Pioneers jumped out to an early lead in the second game and continued to apply the pressure offensively. The Pioneers lost the lead twie but always found an answer. William Paterson scored five runs in the seventh that provided a lead they could maintain.

Julian Sanders homered in both games to move within one of the CMS single-season record, as Claremont-Mudd-Scripps swept Occidental 7-6 and 6-2 on Saturday afternoon at Pomona-Pitzer Baseball Stadium. With the wins, No. 22 CMS improves to 24-7 overall and 11-4 in the SCIAC, two games behind La Verne at 13-2, which CMS meets in two weeks in the final series of the regular season. The Stags were in some danger in the opening game, as the Tigers held a 6-5 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh. However, Sanders led off the inning with a solo homer, his 11th of the season, to knot the game up at 6-6. In the bottom of the eighth, Tyler Shaw drew a two-out walk, and Jack Potter, who had hit a two-run homer earlier in the game, came through with a clutch double to left to plate Shaw with the go-ahead run. In the nightcap, Sanders started the scoring in the bottom of the first with a two-out solo homer, his 12th of the year, pulling him within one of the school record of 13 held by Tyler Laughery (1997). William DeForest (third), Kieran Sidebotham (fifth) and Mitchell Mashiko (seventh) each had RBI singles to help stretch the lead to 6-0, before Occidental scored two harmless runs in the ninth to make the final score 6-2.

A strong starting effort from sophomore Cole Riskin kept Ithaca off the board until the ninth inning, and Clarkson picked up a win in the third game of the series against the Bombers, winning 5-2 Saturday afternoon at Jack Phillips Stadium. The Golden Knights moved to 10-17 on the season and 8-7 in league games, while Ithaca fell to 20-12 and 9-5. Riskin was in control for most of the game. The Clarkson offense did enough in support of Riskin's effort, scoring one in the second and one in the third for an early 2-0 lead. They added three more runs before Ithaca scored two in their final at-bats.

Sophomore Logan Homolka had walk-off hits in both games as No. 23 UW-Stevens Point (18-9, 9-5) swept a doubleheader from UW-Stout (11-11, 4-10). The Pointers won game one, 14-4 in eight innings, and game two, 6-5, while both teams endured five brief delays due to snow fall. Brenden Canterbury hit three home runs on the day, two in game one. He had six RBI. Bradley Comer drove in eight runs on the day, including a three-run home run in game two. Homolka had four hits on the day with five RBI and he scored twice. Payton Nelson scored five runs and had three hits. Jakob Boos also had three hits on the day.

There's no place like home, and for UW-Superior Saturday was its first chance to play there this season. Sure, there have been "home" games, played at locales such as Auburndale, Fla., Mauston, Wis. and St. Paul, Minn. Saturday, however, the Yellowjackets finally got the chance to take to the field in the 54880 ZIP code. There's no place like home – it's not just a saying. Saturday the Yellowjackets played like a team truly excited to be on their home turf. With a cloud-filled sky and temperatures hovering in the mid-to-high 30s, the Yellowjackets were once again rock-solid in all phases of the game, shutting out Martin Luther 10-0 in seven innings at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex. Ryan Rodriguez twirled another gem for the Yellowjackets (13-11, 9-3 UMAC), going the distance to improve to 5-1 on the year. At one point, Rodriguez recorded six consecutive strikeouts and finishing the game with 11 Ks, establishing a new season high.

Led by a game two, complete-game by junior Karl Meyee, MIT earned a road split with Babson on Saturday afternoon in a pair of NEWMAC divisional games. Babson took game one in a 5-2 final, while the Engineers took the second game by a 5-3 margin. in the opener the Beavers took the lead for good on a single to right by Chris Basile that scored Tanner Santos for the 3-2 edge. Babson added two insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth that accounted for the 5-2 final margin. Junior Teddy Schoenfeld was the hitting star in game two. He put the Engineers up 1-0 in the first with a solo shot for his third home run of the season. In an action-filled ninth, Schoenfeld drove in sophomore Reed Tubbs with an RBI single through the left side, followed by a pair of Babson runs on a single to center by Savage that wrapped up the scoring and the doubleheader split.

Adrian completed their three-game series with Olivet College on Saturday afternoon at home. Adrian went on to win the series after winning game one 9-3 and game two 14-3. Don Goodes earned the start on the mound for the Bulldogs in game one. Goodes picked up his first win of the season throwing seven innings allowing one run on a one hit with 11 strikeouts. Goodes facted in the nightcap as well. With a runner on in the seventh, Goodes hit a 2-run homer to right field to force the mercy rule and win 14-3. Jakob Charles picked up the win on the mound for Adrian to pick up his fifth win of the season.
