January 18, 2022 Tyrrell named UChicago head coach University of Chicago officials announced the hiring of Kevin Tyrrell as head baseball coach on Tuesday. Tyrrell spent the past three seasons serving as an assistant baseball coach for UChicago (2019-21).
August 31, 2021 Fitzgerald leaves Chicago for Lewis Chicago head coach John Fitzgerald has been hired at Lewis University and has resigned as Chicago's head coach. Fitzgerald served as Chicago's head baseball coach from 2014-21.
