For the first time this season, a player with a cycle was chosen for the NCBWA Div. III Hitter of the Week, while one of last week’s two nine-inning no-hitters garnered the Pitcher of the Week award. Jacob Charon hit for the cycle Friday to lead Lawrence to a 13-0 victory over Knox College in the Midwest Conference opener for both teams at Northeast Regional Park. Charon went 4-for-4, drove in four runs and scored three times to pace Lawrence's 14-hit attack.
