February 28, 2024 Finn, Wood, Miller honored with NCBWA award Baseball season has been in full swing in the southern portion of the country for several weeks, so it is no surprise that is where the winners of the NCBWA Div. III Hitter, Pitcher, and Rookie of the Month for February play their college ball. The February honors cover all games played February 1-25.

February 23, 2024 Wood no-hitter first for a Major in a decade Graduate Wil Wood recorded the Majors' first no-hitter since 2014 when Nathan Harrel and James Perkins combined for a no-hit game. Wood tossed a career-high 16 strikeouts in only seven innings. The Memphis, Tenn., native faced 22 batters in the 1-0 victory over Westminster on Friday.

April 29, 2023 Roanoke sweeps Randolph-Macon on Saturday Roanoke earned a tie for fifth place in the final ODAC standing with a dominate sweep of Randolph-Macon, scoring 25 runs off a staff with a sub 5 ERA. Elsewhere in Region 6, the field is set for the SAA Championship round next weekend.

April 30, 2022 Millsaps Baseball Advances to SAA Championship Series with Gritty Effort MT. BERRY, Ga. – The Millsaps baseball team showed incredible resolve in the Berry Pod Finale to earn a victory and advance to the SAA Championship Series. Junior Wil Wood pitched a gem with one day of rest as the Majors responded from a 25-10 defeat against Rhodes and won a winner-take-all matchup, 7-2 at William R. Bowdoin Field on Saturday.
