    Tre D'Amico, an outfielder for Frostburg State, Keith Long, a right hander pitcher for Texas-Tyler, and Andrew Santobuono, a right handed pitcher for Alfred State, earned the first NCBWA player of the week award for the 2019 season.

    University of Dallas announced the hire of Erik Grafton as the Crusader's head coach. Grafton will be the 20th head coach for the program. Grafton arrives after spending the previous six seasons as the assistant coach for the Texas-Tyler Patriots.
