Baldwin Wallace traveled to Johns Hopkins and took the top ranking from the Blue Jays in the first regular season D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25. Endicott, Johns Hopkins, Salisbury, Shenandoah and UW-La Crosse were the other teams that received at least one first place vote.
The best teams in Region 9 comes from Wisconsin. UW-La Crosse looks as strong as does UW-Stevens Point. UW-Whitewater will be a factor as well. Add Bethel, Gustavus and Buena Vista and you have a region that competes with any other.

The Eagles, now 35-10 on the season, will need one win on Saturday, May 27 to earn a bid to the NCAA III Championships June 2-8 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Pointers drop to 32-13

The Eagles, ranked 15th on D3baseball.com, improve to 31-9 on the season and earn league's automatic bid to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships.
Whitewater, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse baseball team completed a four-game series sweep with a pair of wins at UW-Whitewater Sunday afternoon at Prucha Field at Jim Miller Stadium. The Eagles, ranked 25th on this week's D3baseball.com Top-25 Poll, took the opener, 8-2, and the nightcap, 6-5. UWL improves to 22-6 overall and 13-3 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC). UW-Whitewater, 19th on D3baseball.com, falls to 17-11 overall and 7-9 in the conference.
UW-La Crosse earned a doubleheader sweep over UW-Platteville Monday afternoon at Prospect Meadows Sports Complex. Tyler Schmitt (3-0) earned the win in the opener, throwing the eighth no-hitter in school history. The Eagles took the nightcap, 6-1.
Ohio Northern shut out Ramapo but they were not the only team to keep their opponent off the boards. UW-Oshkosh did it twice and UW-La Crosse needed one to make a single run hold up. St. Lawrence, Union and Wilmington also won by the narrowest of margins.

The games were moved to Benedictine's The Sports Complex to utilize its lights after a lengthy rain delay in Chicago.
