Senior catcher Justin Bates delivered a walk-off single in the second game of a doubleheader to help Montclair State sweep No. 25 Cortland. The Red Hawks (7-4) slugged their way to a 15-10 win in the opener before edging the Red Dragons (4-7) 11-10 in the nightcap.Joe Norton went 7-for-12 over the two games, knocking in four runs while Anthony Guarino was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate in the second game. Hayden Reyes had five RBI on the day,

Coe secured a series victory over WashU splitting a pair of games with a 13-2 loss in game one while bouncing back for an 8-5 victory in game two. The Kohawks struggled offensively in the first game of the day, recording just two hits in the contest. WashU looked on its way to a doubleheader sweep, leading 5-0 in game two until Coe scored eight unanswered runs, with five coming in the fifth inning. The split moves the Kohawks to 3-3 overall while #1 WashU moves to 8-2 overall.

Benjamin Jung homered to lead off the game, Ethan Weinandy pitched a shutout with a season-best nine strikeouts and UW-Oshkosh upset nationally ranked Denison in Mount Berry, Ga. Weinandy, who allowed five hits and four walks in his second start as a Titan, became the first pitcher to toss a complete-game shutout against Denison University since April 29, 2016. The Big Red, ranked 19th in the NCAA Division III by D3baseball.com, had not suffered a shutout loss of any variety in their past 70 games.

An offensive outburst led the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays to their fifth straight victory, racking up 13 hits en route to a 10-4  triumph over ninth-ranked Salisbury. Mike Eberle, AJ King and Mike Ainsworth all had multi-hit games for the Jays while seven other players picked up a hit in the contest. Ainsworth drove in three runs while Chris Festa and Matthew Ritchie both hit two-run homers for JHU.

Sophomore Brad Shimabuku had three extra-base hits as Chapman defeated Caltech 8-2 in a non-conference matchup. The No. 3 Panthers improved to 11-3 on the season. Shimabuku was on base all five times he came to the plate with two doubles, a triple, a walk, and he reached on catcher's interference. He scored twice and drove in a run. After Ithaca canceled its trip to California due to health concerns, the Panthers and Beavers agreed to meet up at Hart Park to fill the hole in the schedule. It was a non-conference matchup and did not affect SCIAC records.

Senior tri-captain RF Matt Koperniak went 5-for-10 with two runs, four RBIs, a double, and a home run to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a pair of wins on Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium. Trinity improves to 3-0 with a 16-3 win over the Lasell College Lasers followed by a 5-1 victory against the University of Southern Maine Huskies. Lasell drops to 1-2 and the No. 6-ranked Huskies lose their season opener. Trinity scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, including a three-run homer by Koperniak against Lasell. Bantam hurlers Alex Shafer and Andrewe DeRoche combined on a six-hitter with 10 strikeouts against Southern Maine.

No. 22 Shenandoah had another offensive explosion in a 19-4 non-league victory over Mount Aloysius.  The Hornets (10-1) scored runs in all but two innings and had 16 hits in running away from the Mounties (4-1). A four-run first, combined with three runs in both the third and fourth, gave Shenandoah all of the offense it would need in winning its 10th game in 11 outings this season. Seven of nine starters had at least one hit on the day with Henry Delavergne leading the way with a 3-for-4 afternoon that included four RBI and two runs scored.

Alex Page smacked a three-run triple in the top of the ninth inning breaking a 4-4 tie and leading No. 24  Marietta to an 8-4 win over Bridgewater State in the Snowbird Baseball Classic. "It was a weird day with all of the wind. But it was good to get the win," Marietta head coach Brian Brewer said. "We didn't take good care of the baseball today and did a poor job with the bunting game. It was nice to see Alex get that big hit and Dalton (Wiggins) threw well."

No. 23 Rowan (5-0) swept a doubleheader against St. Lawrence (0-2) in its home opener, winning the first game, 13-0, and taking the second,15-6, to increase the season-opening winning streak to five games. In the first game, the Profs were able to strike first with a run in the third inning and never looked back, adding nine runs in the fourth inning. Shortstop Nick Schooley paced the Rowan offense by leading the team with three RBI thanks to a bases-clearing double in the fourth. In the night cap, Rowan's bats remained hot, as the Profs posted eight runs in the first inning. They were able to bat around the lineup twice in the first two innings, which led to a 14-0 lead by the end of the second.
