October 23, 2024 Victory hired to lead Hood Blazers Mike Victory has been hired as the new head baseball coach at Hood. Victory arrives after five seasons at the helm of Brevard College in the USA South conference with an 81-84 career record.
August 29, 2024 Impellittiere takes over at Waynesburg Waynesburg school officials announced the hiring of Michael Impellittiere as head coach of the Waynesburg. Impellittiere spent the last seven seasons as the head coach of Hood where he is the Blazers' winningest coach in program history with a 129-112-1 record.
August 28, 2024 Impellittiere announces departure from Hood After nine seasons with Hood's baseball program, Head Coach Mike Impellittiere has announced his resignation.
April 19, 2024 Good pitching beats good hitting Wash U got a win behind a gem on the mound from junior Sebastian Guzman but this was not the only outstanding pitching performance on Friday. Baruch, Dallas, Dubuque, Hood, Immaculata, RPI, Rowan and Simpson all pitched shutouts.
