Lakeland hires Post to lead programNovember 13, 2023Lakeland promoted Kevin Post to the position of head baseball coach. Post moves up to the head spot after two-plus years as an assistant with the program. He joined the Muskies in 2021 first as a volunteer assistant coach, then as a part-time assistant and was most recently hired as the team's full-time assistant coach.

The Muskies (17-19, 7-13 NAC) put on a hitting clinic in game one, scoring 12 runs on a season-high 23 hits in the 12-7 win. However, the offense went silent in game two, scoring just three runs in the 6-3 loss.

The Muskies (13-10) got off to a slow start, losing game one 7-0, however, game two was a different story as Lakeland put up six runs to win 6-5. The victory was Lakeland's first in 10 tries against the Red Hawks.
