April 25, 2021LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Spalding University senior Peyton Hood threw a no-hitter to lead the Eagles to a 3-0 win over Blackburn College Sunday afternoon on Senior Day. The last no-hitter thrown by a Eagle was on March 30, 2014 when Javier Guerra struck out 11 in a Spalding 16-0 victory over the Red Devils. With the win, Spalding improves to 19-12 on the season and 17-3 in conference play. -
