• Ioviero Collects 800th Win in Saturday Split

    Kean University split their final NJAC regular season games on Saturday in a long day of baseball, falling in the opener, 4-3 in 11 innings and winning the nightcap, 10-9 in 14 innings. The win gave Kean head coach Neil Ioviero his 800th career victory, all at Kean, in the midst of his 27th season.

    Kean and NJCU got good pitching to open this weekend's slate of game on Thursday. Rowan and Stockton needed to rally for their wins and Rutgers-Newark cruised over William Paterson. WPI and Roger Williams became the 12th and 13th team to earn a tie this D3 baseball season.

Ioviero, already the winningest coach in department history for all sports, has a 701-299-2 overall mark in his 24th season at Kean.
