The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in
its second season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine
positions from the previous week. Players are selected from
nominations from their school's sports information directors. This
is the second Team of the Week of the 2013 season.

C Nick Bunce, Sr., Brockport St.
Bonce batted .500 (4-for-8) with two doubles for the Golden
Eagles. He hit a game-winning RBI double in the ninth inning to
upset No. 7 Kean. Bonce played error-free defense, throwing out 75%
of the runners attempting to steal.
1B Andrew Creamer, Jr., Shenandoah
Creamer drove in five runs in a 6-for-8 (.750) week for
Shenandoah. He hit his first home run of the season to go with five
singles for a 1.125 slugging percentage. Creamer had a walk-off
single against Susquehanna.
2B Tim Wilson, Jr., Linfield
Wilson batted .438 (7-for-16) with two doubles and two triples to
lead the Wildcats to a perfect 4-0 record at the Cascade/Northwest
Conference Baseball Challenge. Linfield's leadoff hitter posted at
least one hit in every game and racked up a team-high 13 total
bases.
SS John Adornetto, Sr., Cortland St.
Adornetto batted .750 (6-for-8) with a double in Cortland State's
split at no. 9 Salisbury on Sunday. Adornetto walked twice and
stole a base. Adornetto did not commit an error for the Red
Dragons.
3B Andrew Hacker, Sr., Bridgewater
(Va.)
Hacker had a huge weekend as the Eagles swept doubleheaders from
Messiah and Juniata. Hacker posted a .733 batting average with 11
hits in 15 at-bats in four games. Hacker had six RBI and scored
twice.
OF Andrew Bell, Sr., Hardin-Simmons
Bell led Hardin-Simmons to a 4-0 week. He hit .533 (8-for-15) with
eight runs scored and five RBIs. Bell's only extra-base hit was a
home run.
OF Bill Pace, Sr., Neumann
Pace led the team with five RBI, including two two-run singles, in
a doubleheader sweep at Va. Wesleyan. Pace batted .571 (4-for-7)
for the week.
OF Pat Hirschberg, Jr., Trinity (Tex.)
Hirschberg, the SCAC Offensive Baseball Player-of-the-Week, led
Trinity to a 3-1 record over the past week, including two wins in a
three-game SCAC series against Austin. He hit .429 (6-for-14),
picking up three runs and six RBI for the Tigers. He hit three home
runs, a double, and a triple in the four games, as well as drawing
a pair of walks.
DH Michael Lascomb, Fr., Immaculata
Lascomb batted .571 (4-for-7) for the week. Lascomb drove in the
go-ahead run in the season-opening 2-1 win over Rutgers-Newark a
sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning. He hit his first
career home run in the second game, a 5-4 loss.
SP Martin Henderlite, So., Lynchburg
Henderlite, the ODAC Pitcher of the Week, helped lead the Hornets
to a doubleheader split. Henderlite allowed two hits and two walks
in the complete game shutout. Henderlite sat down 16 straight
Spartans to finish out the game.
SP Stephen Bonser, Sr., Washington
(Mo.)
Bonser threw a complete-game two-hitter in his first start of the
season as Washington (Mo.) earned a 3-2 win over No. 10 Webster in
10 innings Saturday. Both hits came in the third inning, before
Bonser shut down the Gorloks for the final seven innings to earn
his 12th career win.
SP Chris Chismar, Sr., New Paltz St.
Chismar struck out 15 batters on Friday in New Paltz State's
season-opening, 2-0 win over Baruch. In a no-decision, He scattered
three hits, walked three and held the Bearcats scoreless over six
innings.
RP Chris Moyer, Sr., Averett
Moyer appeared in three games, earning a win in two. Moyer allowed
six hits and one run over 10 innings for an ERA of 0.90. Moyer
struck out eight and did not allow a walk.
