The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its second season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors. This is the tenth Team of the Week of the 2013 season.

C  Kevin Bailey, Sr., Alvernia

Bailey batted a blistering .727 (8-for-11) on the week. Five of Bailey's eight hits went for extra bases including being part of back-to-back-to-back home runs in a win at Albright. He scored four runs and knocked in four. Bailey had two assists from behind the plate.

1B  Jeff Lynch, Sr., Johns Hopkins

Lynch went 8-for-18 (.444) with 11 RBIs, nine runs, four home runs and a 1.222 slugging percentage over the course of five games for Johns Hopkins last week. The first baseman had one of the best games of his career against Widener, batting 3-for-4 with five RBIs, five runs, two home runs and a pair of walks in the Blue Jays' victory.

2B  J.J. McDaniel, So., Shenandoah

McDaniel, the ODAC Player of the Week, was 14-for-24 (.560) to lead Shenandoah to a 5-1 week. In a game against St. Joseph's (L.I.), McDaniel had the program's first cycle since 1996. McDaniel had nine extra-base hits with 13 RBI and 10 runs scored.

SS  Nick Ramagli, Sr., Kean

Ramagli, the NJAC Player of the Week, helped Kean to a 4-0 NJAC week, including four wins over the other top two contenders in the NJAC, pushing Kean to a three game advantage in the NJAC, He batted .471 (8-for17) with four extra base hits, drove in seven, and crossed the plate ten times. Ramagli also stole six bases.

3B  Kent Peterson, Sr., Guilford

Peterson finished his career in style by hitting .750 (9-for-12) with a double and six runs in the Quakers' 4-0 week. he was a perfect 6-for-6 with runners in scoring position, driving in six. Peterson matched his career high with four hits and had a personal-best four runs in the Quakers' ODAC win over Emory & Henry.

OF  Cole Bagbey, Sr., Louisiana College

Bagbey, the ASC-East Hitter of the Week, went 7-for-14 (.500) with two home runs, the first of his career, two doubles and five RBIs to fuel a 2-1 division series win over nationally ranked Texas-Tyler. Bagbey also scored three runs and walked once.

OF  Joseph Mendez, Jr., St. Joseph's (Brooklyn)

Mendez was the Bears leading hitter and run producer over the last week. The junior batted .692 (9-for-13) on the week with a team-high 13 RBI along with eight runs scored. The outfielder belted a home run and five doubles for a team-high 1.308 slugging percentage along with a .688 on base percentage over the four-game stretch.

OF  Leon Stimpson, Sr., Alvernia

Stimpson powered the Crusaders lineup from the top spot this week batting .625 (10-for-16) with 17 RBIs and eight runs. His nine RBI game against Albright came three shy of the single game Alvernia record. He also showed a selective eye at the plate drawing six walks and stole six bases in seven attempts.

DH  Evan Graci, Sr., Salisbury

Graci helped Salisbury claim its second consecutive CAC title, hitting .421 (8-for-19) with one home run, one double, eight RBI, six runs scored, one stolen base and one walk base in a four-game sweep of the tournament field. Graci hit safely and scored at least one run in each game last week with a slugging percentage of .632 and on-base percentage of .450.

SP  Matt Delegato, Sr., Pacific (Ore.)

Delegato won his seventh straight game with a complete game four hitter as Pacific beat Puget Sound 10-0 on Sunday. He allowed just four hits, walked no one and struck out six. He retired the first 10 batters he faced and allowed just two runners past first base.

SP  Rob Rogers, Keystone

Rogers earned CSAC Pitcher of the Week honors after tossing a nine-inning complete game in a 4-1 win over Gwynedd-Mercy on Friday afternoon, striking out 10 batters while scattering four hits and one walk.

SP  James Simmons, Sr., Hardin-Simmons

Simmons tossed a three-hitter and never allowed a runner past second base and struck out nine batters in the complete-game shutout. The win clinched an ASC Tournament berth for the Cowboys.

RP  Aaron Roth, Jr., Cal Lutheran

Roth extended his school record consecutive scoreless innings streak to 40.2 after 5.1 innings of work this weekend. On Friday, the junior was perfect in two innings of work while striking out four in a 5-1 victory over La Verne. On Saturday, Roth collected his SCIAC leading eighth save of the season when he pitched the final 3.1 innings.
